1. Sealed tenders sent by the "Registered Post'? Tenders to be dropped must reach
this office within 3.00 PM on 28-05-2015 positively. No tender will be received
after the stipulated time & date. The tender will be opened on the same day at
4.00 PM tenderer or their authorized representative may remain present at the
stipulated time. Any tender sent by post without medium of "Registered Post"
will be summarily rejected.
2. All F.T.L holder of Forest Department, Tripura are eligible to participate in the
tender and copy of valid F.T.L is to be enclosed with the tender documents.
3. The rate must be quoted in Per Cum basis both in figure & in words which will
exclusive of "leviable value added taxes, Income tax, surcharges on income tax &
carrying/ extraction cost" etc, as per rule.
4. The 'earnest money' for an amount of Rs.2, 000/- for each lot in the form of
Deposit-at-Call from any Nationalized Bank of India is to be deposited in favour of
the Sub-Divisional Forest Officer, Ambassa, Dhalai Tripura. Without such earnest
money, no tender will be considered as valid and therefore out rightly will be
rejected. Earnest money of successful tender except the first, second and third
highest tenders will be released within fifteen days from the date of opening of
tender. The earnest money will be liable for forfeiture for violation of the terms and
conditions laid in this tender notice.
5. The round timber will be sold & delivered on 'as is where is hasis' and no
complaint regarding quantity, species and measurement etc. against any will be
entertained. The tenderer he must be satisfied about quantity, quality, species and
measurement after verification in stock lot damaged timber lot before dropping the
tender. A copy of the complete list of damaged timber and its measurement can be
seen in the office of the undersigned Kamalpur Chowmani, FPU office Complex &
Nailahapara office Complex etc is being constructed on any working day between
10.00 AM and 5.00 PM.
6. The successful tenderer shall have to furnish security money to the extent of 10% of
the tender and accepted value within 7 (seven) days of issuance of acceptance letter
and security money will be released after disposal of lots allowed to the tenderer.
The security money is liable for forfeiture for violation of 'term & condition' laid in
the tender.
7. The successful tenderer shall have to deposit the entire value of damaded timber
along with livable value added tax, Income tax, Surcharges on Income taxes and
carrying/ extraction cost as livable as per rule through 'Treasury Challan' under the
appropriate Head of Accounts within 15(fifteen) days of approval of tender by the
competent authority and then only the sale marking and transit passes for the
damaged timber will be considered.
8. The successful tenderer has to be executed agreement with the Sub-Divisional
Forest Officer, Ambassa, Dhalai Tripura.
9. No. dragging, lifting and storage etc. facilities will be provided to the successful
tenderer and such works are to be arranged by the tenderer himself.
10. The damaged timber will have to be disposed by the successful bidder within
10(ten) days of the date of depositing of government dues, royalty, tax etc. in case
of default the department shall not be liable to any loss/damage to the produce.
11. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender including "highest
one" without assigning any reason.
