TENDER
NOTICE
Sealed tenders on plain paper are hereby invited by the undersigned on
behalf of the Government
of Tripura from valid Forest trade licence holders for
disposal of departmentally
operated timber 90.297 Cubic Meter from Central Depot,
Kurnurghat. Timbers approximate to 90.297 Cubic meter of mise species which arc
kept under depot of Central Depot Kumurghut
Range under Kailashuhu r Forest
Division. Details of timbers are shown in ANNEXURE-A.
Tender mav be dropped ill
the box kept at DFO, s Office Kailashahar on all working days or may be sent though
"Registered Post". The sealed tenders should be dropped/reach
this office 011 01' before
19-03-2015.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I.
Sealed tenders sent by" Registered Post" should reach this office within
19-03-2015 on or before 5.00 P.M. positively. No tender will be received after the
stipulated time & date. The tender will be opened on the same day if otherwise not
possible and tenderers or their authorized representatives
may remain present while
opening of the tenders. Any tenders sent by post without medium of "Rcgisl\::I'Cd
Post" will be summarily rejected.
2.
All F.T.L holders of Forests Department, Tripura are eligible to pnrticipate
in the tender and a copy of valid FTL is to be enclosed with tender documents

For each lot "earnest money" for an amount as indicated agaillst each
lot (at ANNEXURE-A)
in the from Deposit -at -Call from any Nationalized
Bank
of India is to be deposited in favour of the Divisional Forest Officer, Kailashahar
Forest Division.
5.
With out such earnest money, no tender will be considered cb valid and
therefore out rightly will be rejected. Earnest money of successful tenders except the
first. second & third highest tenders will be released within fifteen days from the date
of opening of tenders. The earnest money will be liable for forfeiture for \ ioluiior, of
the terms and the condition laid in this Tender Notice in any manner.

6. Timber lots will be sold & delivered on "as in where is basis" and no complaint
regarding quantity, quality, species and measurement
etc. against any lot will be
entertained. The tenders must satisfy themselves about quantity, quality, species and
measurement etc. by filed inspection before dropping the tender. A copy of the complete
Iist of round timbers and its measurements can be seen in the office of the undersigned or
Range Officer, Kumarghat or any working day during office hours except on holiday.
7.
The successful tender shall have
10 % of the tender value so accepted within

9.
No dragging, lifting, storage, transportation and other facilities will be
provided to the successful tender from the Forest Deportment and such works is to be
arranged by the tender himself at his own case & risk.
10.
The timbers logs will have to be disposed by the successful bidder within
7(sevcn) days of the date of depositing of Govcrnmcnt
dues, royalty, taxes etc. In
case of default the department shall not be liable to any loss/damage to the produces.
