TENDER NOTICE
Notice inviting Expression ofInterest
(Tender) for exposure visit ofVDPIC & SHG
members with BLC & VCW ofIGDC Project in Birbhum district and South 24-Paraganas
district of West Bengal
Tender is invited from recognized Institutions/ Agencies/NGOs/Experts,
who have wide experience of
conducting such exposure visit at selective places over the area of Shantiniketan and Sundarban (West
Bengal) as per tentative work plan of exposure visit where actual visit is of 7 days, 2 days will be for to & fro
journey i.e. the bidder will be responsible for 5 days field visit and journey from Kolkata Airport to visit sites
and return from visit sites to Kolkata Airport. (Two different tenders of different sites)

* Air tickets fair will be according to the actual rate- before the scheduled journey of two sites.
2. Needs and duration: Capacity Building of functionaries, SHG members under IGDC Project of
7 (seven) days' duration (5 days exposure visit and 2 days travelling).
3. Level of participation: Project staffs, selected village representatives
and SHG members.
4. Safety net: The authorized agency should ensure free accidental insurance upto Rs. 2.00 lakh for
each participant. They are to engage one Manager-cum-liaison

5. Payment mode: (i) 50% advance payment shall be made on signing of the Agreement. Payment
will be arranged only after satisfactory completion of the work. All payments will be done through
Account Payee cheques.

Tentative program: A total of 2 batches (about 30 per batch) to 2 different sites (Birbhum and
South 24 Paragana, W.Bengal) will be undertaking such exposure visit to be commenced in the
month of June, 2015. For each site, tender is to be submitted separately. Any Bidder may
participate both of sites, for this they have to mention the separate bids. Necessary training-cumexposure visit calendar will be made in discussion with the Project officials after selection of the
Institutions/ Agencies/NGOs/Experts.

Important dates: The Institutions/ Agencies/NGOs/Experts are requested to take part into the
expression of Interest mentioning their technical and financial bid to the office of the Chief
Executive Officer & Project Director, IGDC Project, Aranya Bhavan (3rd floor), Pt.Nehru
Complex,Gurkhabasti,Kunjaban,Agartala-799006
(Ph:0381-231-1173/Fax: 232-1174) on or before
25th April, 2015.
8. Financial conditions:
Successful bidder will have to deposit a D-Call certificate up to 5% of the total value of each work
order.
Sales Tax/Income Tax applicable will be deducted at source.
9. Other conditions:
(i) The Institutions/
Agencies/NGOs/Experts
are to submit valid document and experience
certificate for such exposure visit which should be of not less than 3 years.
(ii) The undersigned has the right to (1) modify, expand, restricts, crop, refloat or cancel in
whole/part, the
process at any stage without assigning any reason, (2) to accept or reject any
quotation including the lowest one without assigning any reason whatsoever, (3) for accepting the
whole or any part of the quotation and decision in the matter shall be final and binding (4) for
increase and decrease of any items of the above job.
(iii) After award of the contract, any minor changes in the modus of implementation can be agreed to
mutually in writing.
(iv) The rates quoted should be valid for a period of twelve months from the date of acceptance of the
rates.
(v) The submission of the quotation will bind the bidder to acceptance of all conditions specified
herein and in addition to the conditions of the contract.
(vi) The bidders or authorized representative (should carry duly signed authority letter) are requested
to remain present during opening of the tender on the same
