ENTRY FEES
ENTRY FEE is $28.00 for the first entry of each dog for each event except for Puppy Classes which are $20.00 for each
event. Each Additional Entry of the same dog is $20.00 for each event. Sweepstakes & Veteran Sweepstakes Fee is
$15.00 for each event. Fees include the 50¢ AKC Recording Fee and the $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee on the first entry
of a dog and a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular
recordable single entry classes. (There is no recording fee or event service fee for junior showmanship, sweepstakes,
futurities, brace/team, multi-dog classes, or special attractions.)

• THE LAKE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY EVENING, APRIL 10, 2015 FOR EXHIBITORS TO
LEAVE EQUIPMENT AND DOGS. IT WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 4:00 P.M. UNTIL 10:00 P.M. The above provisions for leaving
dogs in the Lake County Fairgrounds overnight is a provision of the Clubs for the convenience of the exhibitors. WATCHMEN WILL BE ON
DUTY 24 HOURS, but it must be distinctly understood that the presence of these watchmen is a courtesy to exhibitors for the Clubs, their
members, directors, officers, agents, show superintendent, and the said employees of the said kennel club and/or its superintendents will not
be liable for any loss or injury which may be sustained through the loss, theft, injury and/or death of dogs entered in this event whether said
loss, theft, injury and/or death is or are caused by the negligence or carelessness of the said Kennel Clubs, their members, directors, officers,
agents, superintendents, and/or employees of the said Kennel Clubs and/or employees of their superintendents or by negligence of any person
or any other cause.
• NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED IN THE RESTROOMS OR OTHER DESIGNATED AREAS.
• DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH or confined to their crates except when being judged or in the exercise pens provided.
• THE LAKE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS will be available on Friday and Saturday nights for exhibitors who wish to leave their dogs in
the building overnight. The building will be locked promptly at 10:00 p.m. each night and will not reopen until 6:00 a.m. the following
morning.
• PARKING IS FREE.
• ADMISSION FEE FOR SPECTATORS: $4.00 Seniors & Children 12 yrs. & under - $2.00
• GROOMING AND CRATING WILL BE IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY. TO ASSURE ENOUGH ROOM FOR ALL EXHIBITORS
WISHING TO GROOM, ALL CRATES MUST BE STACKED, NO SPACE CAN BE ROPED OFF OR HELD WITH EMPTY CRATES.
THE SHOW COMMITTEE HAS THE RIGHT TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF GROOMING TABLES PER EXHIBITOR.
• NO MESH CRATES ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING.
• BUILDING & RESTROOMS ARE HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE.
• HANDICAP PARKING – Limited handicap parking is available.
• NO PARKING OR BLOCKING OF ANY ENTRANCE OR EXIT OF ANY BUILDING EXCEPT FOR LOADING OR UNLOADING. AFTER
UNLOADING, VEHICLES MUST BE MOVED AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. Vehicles left in the unloading area more than 30 minutes
with no activity will be ticketed or towed without further announcement. Note: Towing charges are approximately $100.00. All parking
is at the discretion of the Club. Overnight parking will be in designated spaces only. (See next page for reservation form). Failure to comply
with these rules may result in an Event Committee hearing. The saving of space will be on a limited basis only and at the total discretion
of the Club.
• RV PARKING Ample in Designated Areas – No RV parking on the south side of the main area or on the public streets outside of the
Fairgrounds.
• MUST TURN OFF CELL PHONES and/or PAGERS BEFORE ENTERING RINGS.
• Only AKC-eligible dogs are allowed on the show grounds. No puppies under 6 mos. of age will be allowed on the show grounds
during show hours.
• UNENTERED DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE SHOW GROUNDS.
• CLEAN UP NOTICE: Exhibitors/Handlers will be held responsible for keeping their grooming & crating areas clean. Failure to do so
may result in disciplinary action. All litter must be placed in containers that are provided on the grounds and in the buildings.
• EXHIBITORS MUST CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR OWN DOGS IN ALL GRASS AND PAVED AREAS OF THE FAIRGROUNDS. For
the convenience of the exhibitors and their dogs, exercise pens will be available for the animal’s toiletry needs. PLEASE EXERCISE DOGS
BEFORE ENTERING THE SHOW RING.
• Electricity is provided on a limited basis AND IT IS EXPECTED THAT IT WILL BE SHARED.
• NO STROLLERS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE EXPOSITION BUILDINGS. The welfare of a child is assumed to be the
responsibility of the adult bringing the child to the show. It is distinctly understood that adults will exercise control and restraint over
their children at all times.
• NO SMOKING IN BUILDING AT ANY TIME.
• NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. The Lake County Fairgrounds prohibits any alcoholic beverages to be carried in.
• No cutting of rope or tape or removal of any barricade.
• No grooming or crates allowed at ringside. Show & Go crates will be allowed at ringside in designated areas during that breeds’ judging
at the discretion of the Show committee.
• NO CRATING OR GROOMING IN MAIN AISLES.
• Chairs in the grooming area may be limited at the discretion of the Show Committee.
• We recommend that all dogs present at the show be fully immunized.
• Private exercise pens must be set-up on plastic floor sheeting and must be down each morning by 7:00 a.m. No private ex-pens during
show hours. You may use private ex-pens in grooming area (as space allows) 30 minutes after Best in Show.
• At no time in the show building will matting, carpeting, or other material larger than 4’ x 4’ be allowed.
• Grooming area is on a first come-first served basis. Empty space cannot be saved-don't ask. RESERVED GROOMING FOR
SUPPORTED ENTRIES ONLY.
• Food Vendors will be on the grounds.

Exhibitors should follow their Veterinarians’ recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and
external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
"Dogs found in an unsafe environment, distress or harm’s way (for example: left unattended on a grooming
table in a noose not attached to a safety release clip; left in a vehicle without proper ventilation) will be removed
to safety. Exposing a dog to an unsafe environment, distress or harm’s way is considered mistreatment.”

and paid to the American Kennel Club.
IF, BECAUSE OF RIOTS, CIVIL DISTURBANCES, OR OTHER ACTS BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE MANAGEMENT
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN OR TO COMPLETE THIS SHOW, NO REFUND OF ENTRY FEE WILL BE MADE. THE WELL
BEING OF THE DOGS, EXHIBITORS AND SPECTATORS IS OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE, AND IN THE EVENT IT IS

ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge or barred from
competition by action of Show Committee. We will make every effort to find duplicate entries, but if entry is processed, NO
REFUND SHALL BE MADE.
THE OWNER OR HANDLER of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when its class is to be judged. The
Show-Giving Club and Show/Trial Secretary have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address
system, or stewards or runners for the purpose of locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required.

Ramps at the sole discretion of the judge, approved breeds may be examined on the ground or on a ramp:
·For the Judging of Juniors the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp breeds.
This list may be revised from time to time, and the current list can be found on the AKC website in Judging Operations.
A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give reasonable notice to the Show Superintendent/Show Secretary prior to the day
of the show. AKC approval is not required.
Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed.
(In all but emergency situations, the exhibitor has no recourse. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not
indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund.)

I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem
sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity
to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club,
their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or
lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or
volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any
claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing
by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we)
personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the

(Variety) If you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes,
please designate the particular variety you are entering. i.e. Cocker Spaniel (solid color black,
ASCOB, parti-color). Beagles (not exceeding 13 in.; over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.)
Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired). Collies (rough, smooth). Bull Terriers (colored, white). Manchester Terriers (standard, toy). Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat).
English Toy Spaniels (King Charles & Ruby, Blenheim & Prince Charles). Poodles (toy,
miniature, standard).
The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition:
Dogs that are Champions of Record; and dogs, which, according to their owner's records, have
completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed.
The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of
90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a
championship.
(Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are
entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular
division of the class in which you are entering your dog i.e., age division, color division, weight
division.
A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for
an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in
the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement,
regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that
the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been
mailed to AKC (For complete rules refer to Chapter 11, Section 3).
Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience and Rally trials should mark Breed
as AKC Canine Partners Listed Dog "All-American Dog/Mixed Breed." Variety, Breeder,
Sire, Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.
