Over the years, IT systems have been built around automating business functions in a “stovepipe” fashion without taking a holistic view of data. FortiTech Solutions focuses on gaining a deep understanding of client data and establishing a data architecture framework to build or enhance IT systems, whether those systems automate business processes, enhance decision support, or act as services to integrate legacy systems. SDLC Frameworks. There are many SDLC practices and frameworks available and it is easy to become lost in them. Too often implementing an SDLC becomes about the process instead of delivering the system. FortiTech Solutions takes an artifact‐based approach. We define the critical artifacts (outputs) and the key measures required at each stage of the lifecycle. An artifact‐based approach with measures allows clients to drive consistency across teams or vendors without being prescriptive on how the work is done, drive efficiencies through reuse and standardization, and build intellectual capital. Project Diagnostics. FortiTech Solutions uses a standard framework to diagnose a project that incorporates industry best practices and our experiences.
