INCREASING THE UNDERSTANDING OF PRESSING ECONOMIC ISSUES SINCE 1995
The International Economic Forum of the Americas was created to promote the role of the Americas in major
decisions and reforms related to the current global economic context. Its mission is also to facilitate agreements,
offer business opportunities and provide access to unique insights from leading specialists.
Mr. Gil Rémillard is the Founding Chairman of the International Economic Forum of the Americas, which annually
presents the Conference of Montreal, the Toronto Global Forum, and the World Strategic Forum, held in Miami.
THE WORLD STRATEGIC FORUM
The International Economic Forum of the Americas will host the 5th edition of the World Strategic Forum, which
will be held on April, 13-14 2015 at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, under the general theme: Engineering the
Resilient Economy.
The World Strategic Forum, founded in 2011, is aimed at fostering dialogue on national and global issues. Every
year in April, the Forum attracts Heads of States, central bank governors, Fortune 500 CEOs and global thought
leaders. These leaders gather to share their views about critical financial, business, energy and international trade
issues. Over the years, the World Strategic Forum has become a strategic platform for discussions and corporate
insights into the global economy, with significant national and international media coverage. The Forum presents
opportunities for business synergies aimed at long-term partnerships in the context of changing dynamics in the
global economy.
