Chairperson:
The Chairperson sets the overall annual agenda (consistent with the views of the members), helps the executive prioritise its goals and then keeps the executives on track by working within that overall framework. At the operational level, the major function of the President is to facilitate effective Executive and Council meetings. Including:

Signs all official FOSSFA documents.
Propose and initiate new Projects for the Organisation
Have the sole responsibility to hire and fire in collaboration with FOSSFA Council
Chairs all FOSSFA meetings Act as CEO for the Organisation
Reports to Annual General Meeting
Raise funds for the Organisation
Is the spokes person for the Organisation

General Secretary:
◦ May assume the responsibility of spokes person for the Organisation as may be directed
by the Chairperson.
◦ Have oversight of all FOSSFA content to all communication platform
◦ Have oversight of all FOSSFA communication
◦ Council rapporteur.
◦ Prepare and issue agendas, supporting papers and minutes of the previous Council and Executive meetings.
◦ Raise funds for the Organisation
◦ Have oversight of all FOSSFA Conferences and Program reports. •
Treasurer:
◦ Have oversight and sign­off all payments ◦ Prepare financial statements and report to members during Annual General Meeting(AGM) and Council meeting
◦ Support all fund­raising activities ◦ Liaise with all officers of the organisation in relation to financial operations.
◦ Prepare annual budget demonstrating income and expenditure for the organisation and for funding purposes and special project(s).
◦ Have oversight on audit of FOSSFA Accounts
◦ Raise funds for the Organisation
◦ Have online access to all FOSSFA accounts

Chief Technical Officer(CTO): ◦ Have oversight of all FOSSFA digital heritage ◦ Responsible for all FOSSFA digital platforms ◦ Assigned officers and members access to all FOSSFA communication platforms – websites, mailing list, email platform, etc...
◦ Advices Executives on technology choices to promote the goals of the organisation.
◦ Raise funds for the Organisation
◦ Assist Executives in drafting TORs for all technical positions.
