Age Friendly Seniors’ Coordinator Vickie Fitzpatrick 250.367.7124 (h), 250.512.9379 (c) or by email [email protected] DO YOU KNOW... How to keep metal faucets gleaming? Rub the faucets with wax paper, this will shine your faucets and last for a few days. How to keep your greens fresh longer? Wash and dry your lettuce, grapes, green onions, celery, etc., then place a folded paper towel in the bottom of a container or ziplock bag, place the greens in the container and then top them with another folded paper towel. The paper towel will absorb the moisture helping to keep food fresh for days. AGE FRIENDLY LUNCH On sunny Tuesday April 14th we greeted 168 seniors at our ‘THANKS FOR BEING OUR SENIORS’ lunch.
