A power column customized with LED lights and acoustic capabilities to support agile management –
a trend in operational office design activity often referred to as scrum where the team gathers together
to plan for the sprint and to synchronize their play. Today, office design is akin to a soccer game where
dynamic, changing and responsive environments are required daily or weekly.
PDLA also responds to current workplace design aesthetic changes including the disappearing “cubicle”
office and the elimination of the lay-in ceiling, creating a loft-like, industrial, and open structure with
exposed and accessible wire management. PDLA responds in support of a more interactive and
sustainable work environment, is accommodating of low furniture systems and creates a welcoming and
collaborative workspace. PDLA's indirect lighting capabilities support the immediate surrounding work
area with soft indirect and ambient lighting.
PDLA is the most effective solution to minimize conventional construction cost for power cores and data
changes, modifications and/or service in difficult locations. The design of the PDLA column establishes
place and enhances the workplace, creating a friendly and welcoming team environment.
