THE SEVENTH CHINA-JAPAN-KOREA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RING THEORY (JULY 1 -7, 2015) (second announcement) The Seventh China-Japan-Korea International Conference on Ring Theory will be held from July 1 to July 7, 2015 in Hangzhou, China. This is the second announcement of the conference. Background of the conference The conference is held every 4 years on a rotating basis. The first conference was held in 1991 at Guilin, China. In 1995 the second conference took place in Okayama, Japan. At the second conference it was decided to include Korea, who hosted this conference of 1999. Goal of the conference The purpose of this conference is to contribute to the development of ring theory,to exchange current research ideas and to strengthen the ties of friendship between ring theorists of China, Japan and Korea. Registration Registration fee: US$250 for each participant; US$200 US for each accompany person. Registration fee is paid upon arrival. We normally expect that participants will arrive on July 1 (Wed.) and depart on July 7 (Tues.). The registration fee covers proceedings, meals, refreshments, banquet, local sightseeing, etc., during the conference. All participants should be registered by Abstracts April 1, 2015. One page abstract of contributed presentations will be printed in a booklet which will be distributed to all participants. It is preferred that abstracts be prepared using a LaTeX stylefile. Abstracts (including titles and affiliations) should be submitted by email to [email protected] Both tex file and pdf file are required. The deadline for receipt of all abstracts is May 15, 2015. Proceedings For the proceedings of the conference, we are going to publish a special issue in "Frontiers of Mathematics in China" (indexed by SCI,2013 IF = 0.452). The title of the special issue will be called "Progress in ring theory". All papers for the conference proceedings for publication in this special issue should be submitted by emails to [email protected] after the conference. They will be refereed in order to achieve a high scientific level. Both tex file and pdf file are required. The deadline for receipt of all papers is November 30, 2015. Visas If anyone needs an official invitation letter to get a visa to China, please send an email to [email protected]. 1 Accommodation During the conference all participants stay in Holiday Inn Express Hangzhou Grand Canal (3star hotel). The cost of accommodation will be almost US$50/night (single room) and US$25 /night (sharing twin room) per person. The sharing rooms are limited. Climate of Hangzhou July is the beginning of summer season. The usual temperature in early July in Hangzhou is about 30 degrees Celsius or 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Bank services RMB (Renminbi) is the only currency used in China. Money exchanges by cash or traveler’s cheques can be made at the branches of Bank of China at airports, star-rated hotels and tourist stores. If you arrive by air, you’d better first exchange some Chinese money at Bank of China Airport Service in the Terminal Building, so as to be able to pay for taxi and other minor costs. Transportation There are three international airports near the conference venue. They are Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, Shanghai Pudong Airport and Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airpot. The participants can fly to any one of the three airports. The following diagram tells you how to get to the hotel from these airports. Or, either take a taxi or subway line #5 to Hongqiao railway station, and then take a train (about 80RMB/person) to Hangzhou Eastern Train Station or Hangzhou Train Station. 2 3 From Hangzhou XiaoShan Airport, take an airport shuttle (20RMB/person) to Wulin Gate, and then either take a taxi or Bus line #12 (or 46 or 316) to the hotel. 4 From Hangzhou Eastern Train Station, take a taxi or Bus line #33 to the hotel. 5 From Hangzhou Train Station, take a taxi or Bus line #3 to the hotel. 6 From Hangzhou Long-distance Bus Station, take a taxi to the hotel.
