Z-PACK 2mm FB two-piece
connector system uses a
modular concept and a
2mm contact pitch to provide high-density, highspeed signal and power
connections for Futurebus+
and Futurebus+ “like” applications. These versatile
connectors are designed to
meet the requirements of
International Specification
IEC 61076-4-104 with applications that include workstations, personal computers, process controllers and
telecommunications equipment.
Signal and power modules
are available in pin and
receptacle assemblies with
a choice of either solder
leads or compliant press-fit
leads. Compliant press-fit
leads offer fast, solderless
application to printed circuit
boards. Pin and receptacle
housings are made of a
high temperature liquid
crystal polymer. Contacts
are gold or gold flash over
palladium nickel and conform to all testing specified
for Telcordia Uncontrolled
Environment. The signal
modules are end-to-end
stackable, providing
88 signal lines per cm
[50.8 signal lines per inch].
