PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM

This two day workshop will ground professionals to support and assess individuals
presenting with gender dysphoria and/or diversity, in particular children
approaching puberty, teenagers & youth
 workshops will utilise videos, case examples and live client demonstrations
 participants will engage in small group activities, discussion and self-reflection
 readings and activities designed to improve skills will involve ‘taking a gender history’ and
working in pairs to prepare a short presentation for the second day
 a reflective writing exercise has been designed for completion after the workshop to enable
participants to assess their learning and readiness to accept referrals
 post-workshop follow-up and support includes face-to-face and web-based feedback
