20 seconds. That’s all it takes for the electrically powered vinyl soft top to open or close. Turn a single
latch and a triple lock system, unique in its class, creates a secure, wind and weatherproof seal with the
windscreen. When the soft top is down, two sculpted domes rise from the rear deck. Between them and
marked with the famous Z emblem, is a glass wind deflector that reduces air turbulence and lets you
continue a conversation even at motorway speeds.

Even before you’ve gone anywhere, it feels
like you’re in a special place. Running your
fingers over the upgraded materials confirms
a new standard of quality. And now even the
door drinks holders are illuminated, so you can
easily find refreshment, whilst quenching your
thirst for speed.
That little red light in the rev counter will soon
become a favourite feature. It’s a programmable
shift indicator, which flashes red as you reach
the optimum safe engine speed in any gear.
Positioned to be in your peripheral vision, it
lets you focus on the road and on extracting
maximum performance, without the risk of
over-reving.

There are, apparently, pastimes other
than driving. In the unlikely event that
you’ll still want to indulge them having
purchased a 350Z, both the Coupé and
Roadster feature an attribute rarely
seen in their class: a usably large, easily
accessed boot.
In the Coupé, there’s a remarkable
235 litres of luggage space, which is
enough to accommodate two golf bags.
And despite the fact that its soft top
completely disappears beneath the rear
deck, the Roadster still has 130 litres
of space; room for a full-size golf bag.
In both cars, the cockpit offers several
helpful storage spaces, including as
a compartment behind the rear seats
and an expandable net pocket on the
transmission tunnel. While there’s a
certain satisfaction in travelling light, it’s
even more pleasing to know that nothing
essential need be left behind.

The 7-speaker 240-watt Bose® sound system
features AudioPilotTM digital processing. A small
onboard microphone listens for unwanted ambient
noise, then adjust the EQ* output to compensate,
with no perceived change in audio volume, ensuring
constant sound quality without distraction.
*EQ = equalisation, the sound and tone settings. The tone control
can be a simple bass and treble adjustment or a graphic equaliser;
which gives more accurate control of the sound reproduction at
individual frequencies.

Introduce your Bluetooth® mobile phone to the
350Z Coupé for safer, hands-free communication.
You will be able to operate all the most frequently
used functions on compatible phones without
taking your hands off the steering wheel.
NAV
The DVD-based navigation system is controlled by
the central joystick and has a 7-inch screen with a
BirdviewTM perspective display, that makes it easier
to quickly see where you’re going and how to get
there. The TMC - Traffic Message Channel system
helps you avoid delays. You can also be guided by
spoken command, not just to your destination but
to 1000s of points of interest on the way, including
hotels, filling stations and restaurants.

With the new 3.5 litre V6 engine, torque delivery starts low and builds relentlessly, climaxing at 358Nm at 4800rpm. These are figures you can actually
feel, with an instant response the moment you press the throttle and every gear change producing a forceful shove in your back.

It’s always good to arrive, but in the 350Z, getting there is the most fun.
With four valves per cylinder and four camshafts, the new all-alloy engine revs eagerly and rapidly to its 313PS (230kW) output. As you press on the
drilled alloy accelerator pedal, the newly designed engine lets an even better guttural growl escape from the exhaust finisher, hardening to a
hair-tingling rasp. In case the power alone isn’t enough to thrill you.

Why not 50/50 front/rear weight distribution? Our engineers determined that a 53% front/47%
rear ratio gives more adhesion to the front wheels when the weight shifts forward under heavy

BREMBO
BRAKES
The big Brembo brakes use four piston front and two piston rear
callipers to squeeze high friction pads against large diameter discs.
With Nissan Brake Assist and EBD as standard, the brakes are
reassuringly powerful and effective. With such a rapid response to
the brake pedal, you can feel confident while enjoying the 350Z’s
performance to the full.
ESP makes rapid, minute adjustments to the brake and
throttle during extreme manoeuvres and in difficult driving
conditions, to keep you to your intended path. If you really
want to test your driving skills, for example on track days,
the ESP system can be deactivated.
SWITCHABLE ESP
ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM
Vehicle-speed-sensitive Power Steering.
At low speeds, higher levels of assistance make the steering feel
lighter and easy to turn. As speeds increase, assistance is reduced,
giving the steering more ‘weight’ and feel tightens to help give you
optimum control.
The Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) uses sensors that
determine impact levels and whether occupants are wearing
their seat belts, then deploy the front air bags accordingly.
At the same time, seat belt pretensioners, tighten the belts
to restrict forward movement. Seat-mounted side air bags
and roof-mounted curtain air bags (not available on
Roadster) are designed to provide optimum protection for
you and your passenger during certain side impacts.

There are two new colours for the 350Z Coupé: an eye-catching Rosso Red, and a glamourous Pearl White. Add the wide choice between
Charcoal cloth or Charcoal, Alezan Orange or the new Frost Grey leather upholstery, and you have the potential to make a powerful personal
colour statement.
The two new colours are also available for the 350Z Roadster. So is the new Frost Grey leather trim, along with the Charcoal cloth or leather
seats. The famous Alezan Orange ventilated net seats are also available for you to enjoy the full fresh air experience. The electrically
powered vinyl soft top is now available in black or grey*. Both include a glass heated rear window as standard equipment.
