CLOVIS UNIFIED PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION
Clovis Unified School District provides a high quality, part-day preschool enrichment program for
children turning 4-year’s old by 12/2/2015. Call 327-9180 beginning at 8am on Wednesday,
April 8th, to make a registration appointment for the 2015 - 2016 school year. The first day
parents may pick-up an application packet, at all elementary school sites or in the Child Development Office, is Tuesday, April 7, 2015.

Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration is now enrolling for the 2015-16 school year. If your child is five
years old on or before September 1st, you may enroll your child in Kindergarten for next year.
Eligible students turning five between September 2, and December 2, 2015, you may enroll
your child in the Transitional Kindergarten program (this is a two year program). In order to
register, you will need a copy of your child’s birth certificate, immunization record, Social Security Card and proof of residence (copy of PG&E bill, City of Clovis bill, rental agreement or
escrow papers, property tax payment or pay check stub) in order to complete registration.

Tdap BOOSTER FOR 7TH GRADE
As you may already know, California State Law requires a Tdap booster for all students entering 7 th through the 12th
grades. This law will affect all of our 6th grade students entering 7th grade this next fall.
All 6th grade students will need proof of a Tdap BOOSTER or an immunization containing Pertussis before entering 7th
grade next year. If your last boosters were before 7 years of age, your child will probably need a booster to meet this
requirement. Tetanus boosters for an injury usually do not count.
Please check your shot records and/or with your primary care provider for more information. Please make an appt.
ASAP with your doctor or with one of our CUSD clinics to update this important immunization.
A note from the cafeteria: Please have your students prepay for
lunches. Be sure to include your child’s name and room number on
the check!
Make Checks Payable to: Clovis Unified School District. You may bring your
check at recess or before school.
Lunch this year is $2.25; breakfast is $1.00.
Our CUSD Children’s Health Centers are now open.
Please call the health center of your choice BEFORE going to make sure the nurse
is in and seeing patients. Appointments are encouraged!!
