She will hope to take these outside however if the weather is unsuitable we will postpone until Monday 18th May. After School Care Please ensure that if your child requires After School care that you either email or phone the school office to book your child in on in the day. A number of children are coming in and informing staff themselves that they need to be in after school that evening. This facility does need to be booked by a parent, even if it is just for half an hour whilst they wait for a sibling to return from a fixture due to staff/children ratios. Many thanks to Mr Roe who came in to Form 5 & 6 to give a talk about his work as a team member of Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association who carry out mountain and cave rescue. Form 3 and 4 had a very interesting trip to Esholt Treatment works last Friday. Commendation certificates awarded for week ending 24th April to be presented 1st May Reception— Max Albrecht for trying his best with his writing. Max has a fabulous attitude towards his work now. Form 1— Edith Eccles for rising to the new challenges she faces in her Year 2 lessons with a positive attitude and a willingness to take more risks Form 2— William Teal for his ‘Resilience—keeping focused on a task and avoiding distractions. Form 3— Katie Fox for her good attitude and improvement in Maths. Form 4— Rohaan Chaudhury for his progress in Mathematics—working really hard on his times tables, focused in class and working independently. Form 5 & 6— William Westlake for his hard work towards securing a level 6 in the forthcoming SATs tests.
