SPOTLIGHT:
Since opening our doors in 2012, Tenn South Distillery has grown from offering
our traditional “All Purpose” Moonshine and flavored Shines to our recently released “Old King Corn
Whiskey” and our “Clayton James” Tennessee Whiskey. Always respecting tradition, heritage and history in what
we do and how we do it, Tenn South uses local grains and waters to distill singular spirits using our 500 gallon copper pot still. Our Moonshine, “Black Mule” Vodka, “Abernathy Gin” and “Clayton James” have all been awarded
medals in national spirit competitions in 2014 and 2015. Always ready to walk our visitors through the distillery, we
love to give a hands-on tour showing how we mash, ferment, distill, barrel and bottle all our spirits. We’re especially proud of explaining what makes “Clayton James Tennessee
Whiskey” unlike any other by showing how our Tenn South sugar
maple charcoal mellowing, or “Lincoln County Process”, creates a
unique and truly different, smooth, 90 Proof sipping experience.
We think making our own distinctively designed barrels also sets
us apart. Open for visits Monday through Saturday till 5, tour and
taste all eight Tenn South spirits, and take home your favorites
from our Bottle Shop.
