Dear Tennessee and Alabama Junior Angus Exhibitors,
It’s time for the 7th Annual Volunteer Classic Junior Angus Show! This year’s show is scheduled for May 9, 2015 at 1:00
pm at the Giles County Agri-Park in Pulaski, TN. The park’s address is 1980 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, TN. This year, our
show is being held in conjunction with the Giles County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism’s event “Here’s the Beef.”
I have enclosed the schedule of events for the weekend. We hope you will make plans to join us!
We want this show to be a positive experience for our area’s Angus juniors and create excitement for Angus cattle. We
want to reward as many junior exhibitors as possible with class and showmanship prizes. Premiums will be awarded to
the first five places in each class and numerous prizes will be awarded for showmanship and class winners. Division
Champions will be named and prizes awarded for Calf, Intermediate, Junior and Senior Champions. Grand and Reserve
Champion will receive cash prizes, supplemented with items donated by our generous sponsors.
Show classifications are for cattle born September 1, 2013 through December 31, 2014.
Cattle may begin arriving at noon on May 8th and must be on the grounds of the Agri-Park, no later than 10:00 am on May
9th. Classes will be broken after all cattle have been checked in at the show, with no more than nine head in any class.
Last year, due to exhibitor interest, we decided to add a bull show. The number of bulls present on the morning of the
show will determine whether or not we have a full set of classes. Showmanship classes will be divided into four
divisions: PeeWee, Junior, Intermediate and Senior.

There are two hotels in Pulaski that can provide accommodations, if needed. Comfort Inn 1140 West College Street,
