AUDITIONS for the Gingerbread Players’ production of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream: Friday, June 19, 7:30–9:30 p.m.; Sunday, June 21, 2–4 p.m. The Gingerbread Players of Saint Luke’s Church, a community theater in Forest Hills, Queens, are looking for actors and actresses for Shakespeare’s magical comedy. Performances November 9–16. Open casting will take place at St. Luke’s Church parish hall, 85 Greenway South in Forest Hills, on Friday, June 19 (7:30–9:30 p.m.) and Sunday, June 21 (2–4 p.m.). No appointment necessary. Candidates will be asked to read from the script. Depending on the role, you may be asked to sing as well.
