CALL FOR PAPERS
SESSIONS
The GLCC is divided into three sessions: Session I: Cancer Cytogenetics; Session II: Clinical
Problems; Session III: New Technologies. The meeting closes with the annual Allen H. Gardner
Memorial Lecture.
The following guidelines are suggested:
1.
Please email title/abstract to [email protected] or fax to: 416-813-4956 Attn: Dr.
Mary Shago. Please include authors’ names and addresses and the email address of the
presenting/corresponding author (underlined). The abstract should be limited in length to
250 words or less for publication to the web.
2. Titles and abstracts are accepted on a first come basis, until timeslots are filled. An email
confirmation will be sent acknowledging receipt of the abstract. Presenters will be informed
of the assigned timeslot approximately two weeks prior to the meeting.
3. Presentations should be no more than 20 minutes, which includes a 5-minute question and
discussion period.
4. A laptop will be available at the meeting. Presentations should be in PowerPoint format on a
USB key.
5. Early Submission Prizes: Abstracts received by April 17 will be eligible for 3 random
draws of $100.00 CDN each to be held at the meeting.
6. We are a friendly, receptive crowd, so you have nothing to lose by participating. We rely on
you to make the meeting a success! So please select your cases now.
RULES FOR EARLY SUBMISSION PRIZE
1.
Abstracts/titles must be received by the advance registration deadline, April 30, in
order to be included for the draw. Everyone is eligible except meeting organizers.
2. A random draw of the titles from each session will be performed and a cash prize
awarded to each presenter that is drawn.
