We are excited about the opportunity to offer accommodations and the retreat experience. • All guests must bring pillows, bed linens (twin size), towels, and toiletries (unless staying in Paluxy or MMC). • Your reservation is tentatively scheduled on our calendar. Please check the enclosed User Agreement to be sure the details for your event are correct and you understand the information. Check arrival and departure times. • A Glen Lake staff member will greet you upon your arrival. Please check in at Turner Hall and you will be directed to your cabins. If your group is coming in a bus, please let the Guest Services Manager know so that we can have you park in the appropriate location. • Sign the User Agreement (marked original). Return the document with your deposit to the Glen Lake office by the date indicated on the User Agreement to confirm your reservation. If the User Agreement and deposit are not received by this date, we will not hold your reservation dates and they will be available for other groups to book. • Unless your group has reserved the entire facility, please be aware that additional groups will be in attendance during your stay. In addition, there may be corresponding guidelines and restrictions that will apply to ALL shared areas of camp (dining hall, sportsfield, gymnasium, etc). • Detailed explanations of our deposit and cancellation policies are included in the User Agreement. Please read this carefully. You will be financially responsible for the details of your reservation as specified through the signed User Agreement and any subsequent arrangements made with Glen Lake. • Accommodation adjustments are required 30 days prior to your arrival. Your final roster and retreat schedule are required at least 2 weeks in advance for the food service department. • Your group’s Certificate of Liability is due 2 weeks prior to camp. • Final payment is due upon arrival to camp. • You MUST inform all retreat attendees of all information, rules, and policies! Amanda Garza Guest Services Manager [email protected] 254-897-2247 Rules and Policies • No pets, smoking, chewing tobacco, alcoholic beverages, or use of foul language anywhere on campgrounds. • Campfires are prohibited except in designated areas and only after permission has been given by the Glen Lake staff. • Males and females are not to be in or near the cabin areas of the opposite gender. • All decorations, equipment, and supplies belonging to your group must either be taken home or properly disposed of by your group. • Campers 18 years old and younger must have an adult chaperone staying in each cabin used. The chaperone must be at least 19 years old and out of high school (1:8 chaperone to camper ratio). • No water balloons, shaving cream, flour bombs, toilet paper bombs, etc. near any of the cabins, buildings, or trees. We do have a field that may be used for this type of activity with Glen Lake approval. However, it must be throughly picked up by your group when you are finished. Please check with the Glen Lake staff concerning these activities. • Do not write on, deface, or vandalize the rooms, buildings, or property in any way. Do not pull “pranks” or raid other cabins at night. If any damage does occur during your stay, please inform the Glen Lake staff prior to your departure so the damage may be assessed. Any damage will be billed to you. • Please put all trash in trash cans. • Glen Lake Waterfront: -No swimming in the lake -No diving off the dock -No pushing people into the water Glen Lake 1102 NE Barnard St Glen Rose, TX 76043 • Quiet hours are observed from 10pm-7am. Groups are expected to observe the hours and respect other groups. Glen Lake is located in the city limits of Glen Rose, TX. If Glen Lake is fined for noise, your group will be invoiced for the fee. • No fireworks, firearms, or dangerous weapons are allowed. • Please do not bring hot plates, heaters, or other similar items. • The speed limit while on Glen Lake property is 15 MPH. If you bring a golf cart for your retreat, please limit your passage to roads and avoid sidewalks and grass. • A Glen Lake host will be waiting to greet your group. If the city has issued a Burn Ban, Glen Lake must comply.
