EDUCATIONAL PATHWAYS INTERNATIONAL GHANA 2014 Year Group JAMES NANA WELBECK NTI-OMANE While an EPI student, I not only learned to stay competitive on the programme, but I also learned the very foundation of Sara and Leonard’s work: charity towards the educational and leadership development of Ghana’s gifted but needy students. Their awareness and efforts in helping to raise the next generation of Ghanaian and African leaders were enough motivation for me to strive on in my undergraduate career. I have learned giving that transcends financial assistance, to friendship and parental love. I completed the University of Ghana with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. BONIFACE AKANPULE I am an intrinsically motivated team player with a proven track record of accomplishment and enthusiam for challenges aimed at bringing our my best potential. O strive to be empathetic, sparing no effort in promoting good health in the lives of people especially children. My career goal is to assume a role which allows me to take responsibility for the total wellbeing of my clients. I want to specialize in Paediatric Nursing in the future. I graduated with a BSc. degree in Nursing at the University of Ghana EMMANUEL AVORKLIYA Emmanuel Avorkliya is my name and I’ve successfully completed my university education at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science with honours in Nursing. I cannot boast today of a successful education without mentioning the timely intervention of Educational Pathways International who came to my aid and put smiles on my face in times of financial difficulties. My interest is bringing healthcare to the doorstep of the people through public health programs, especially in health education. MOHAMMED HABIB SULEMANA I graduated with a BSc degree in Administration (Accounting major). I wanted to attend University so as to broaden my horizon in order to think professionally in solving societal problems in my field. My smooth sail through University education still seems like a dream; this is to the credit of Educational Pathways International (EPI). I look forward to becoming a Chartered Accountant and serving my country. KINGSLEY DARKO BOAKYE Telecommunication Engineering was my field of study at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. It truly transformed my life. As I now embark on my career path, it is my dream to give back to society in the future. am grateful to Educational Pathways International for giving me this opportunity. MARY AKOS ADJORLOLO I studied Accounting at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). My dream is to become one of the world’s leading business women employing thousands of the populace. Thanks to Educational Pathways International (EPI) for providing me with a stepping stone to a most promising future. DIANA ADDAE I am a self-motivated and ambitious individual with the desire to succeed. I graduated with a BSc. Electrical/ Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). My interest in Science dates back to Holy Child High School where I excelled in all fields of study especially Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. My hobby was fidgeting with electrical and electronic gadgets. It seemed only logical that I pursue a career in Electrical Engineering. I have plans of pursuing higher education, after gaining some years of working experience. PRINCE LAWOE I am especially grateful to Educational Pathways International (EPI), without whose support, I strongly doubt that I would have been able to make it successfully. But beyond the financial support, EPI empowered us and gave us hope. I plan to make very good use of my life, my gifts and talents to the benefit of humanity and myself.” To that end, I want to become a Real Estate Expert and a Businessman. I have a degree in Land Economy at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. JONATHAN SALIFU I have successfully completed Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) through the support of Educational Pathways International (EPI). It is my dream to continuously climb the academic ladder hence I would like to do my Masters Program after National Service. My goal is to do research in other sources of energy and also to make good use of the abundance of solar energy in the northern parts of the country especially my village Tanga. I graduated with a degree in BSc. Electrical Engineering. BRIGHT TETTEY I hope to work one day as an Accountant in an Auditing firm, establish my own NGO and a secondary school . With this, I hope to give equal opportunity to the under privileged in the society. Educational Pathways International (EPI) gave me hope when I thought it was over for me. I graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a degree in Administration, majoring in Accounting. AKOS ESSEL DAKUDZI Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship has been beneficial to me both in my academics and finances. Owing to the fact that, I have to keep high grade points to be maintained on the scholarship program. I did incredibly well in my examinations. I say “Ayekoo (well done)” for helping me to be on the path to achieving my dream of becoming a Career Diplomat to represent my country’s interest on the international level. I graduated with a BA in Political Science. EMMANUEL ADJEI KLU As I realise the amount of efforts Educational Pathways International (EPI) has invested in my university education, I can’t say much more than God richly bless and enrich EPI. As I have graduated with a degree in Medical Laboratory Science. I know my opportunities are countless and with the skills attained and mentorship received, helping to save the lives of the sick would only be the stepping stone. I look forward to possibly doing my Masters program after my internship and contribute my quota to the development of Ghana. I most fondly remember the alliances created and the warmth of the family experience in EPI. MERCY BLEMATESSA I am a young, promising, industrious and intelligent lady with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana, Legon. This would not have been possible without the unflinching care and support of Educational Pathways International (EPI). I wish to express my profound gratitude to EPI for funding my education at the tertiary level. “Without your sacrificial act of love, I would not be where I am today. Kudos!!!” With the exposure I have received, I hope to work hard towards becoming a renowned Lawyer in the near future. Also, I would endeavour to use my intellects to help the marginalised in the society. VICTUS KORDORWU In my own words I would say the training of a human mind is not complete without education. I believe that a global education needs to be something more than just classes and lessons learned. It's about researching, discussing and reaching out to people in need as a way of giving back to society. This is exactly what EPI has given and inspired some of us to become not to talk of the financial relief from our parents. Now that I have graduated, my dream is to further my education in my field of study (Petroleum Engineering).
