GMC Western States 2015 Spring Rally

We are excited to be going back to our favorite park -- Emerald Desert, Palm Desert,
CA. This is a 5 star RV park with 2 pools, 3 Jacuzzis, putting greens, tennis and pickle
ball courts. The beautiful club house is fully equipped with a stage, dining room, dance
floor, pool tables, full kitchen and air conditioning.
Saturday night’s dinner will be potluck Roving Hors d’oeuvres. Please bring your
favorite to share with the group. Sunday night Ralph Mundia will BBQ Tri Tips with
his favorite marinade rub. Monday night we are having Hero’s BBQ Boneless Pork
Ribs & Chicken. Tuesday night we are having BBQ Burgers and Fries. We are going
to have a Hero’s Luau Hawaiian dinner evening with Lei making Mai Tais for all. Wear
your Hawaiian attire -- no coconut shells Jim! There will be five breakfasts; lunch is on
your own. We will have two Margarita Buckets, one regular and one virgin.
Gary Bovee, Technical VP is putting together new GMC seminars. Jodell Banovich is
working on women’s activities. If you have a special talent and would like to share with
us, let one of us know and we will fit you into the schedule. Dave promised not to make
it a survivor rally, but there will be plenty of time for GMC games.

What to Bring: GMC Motorhome, lunch food, first night Hors d’oeuvres for many,
Swap Meet goods, Hawaiian attire, bathing suit for pool and spa, and a talent for talent
night. Read Life of Pi by Yann Martel for the Book Club.
