Greetings,
We are excited that on last year we had another successful “Ladies of Excellence” Pageant Program!
Our 2013 reigning Queen, Lady Shetara Parker (Bishop Wyoming Wells District) represented
Greater North Carolina Jurisdiction at the Auxiliaries in Ministries (AIM) Convention COGIC Girls
Rock event Pageant in July of 2014; in Kansas City, Missouri! It is with pleasure to say that Ms.
Parker swept the category of Music and brought home the Gold. If you are interested in this
wonderful opportunity then the time is now for you to apply. Our 2014 reigning Queen Julia Epps
(Bishop Wyoming Wells District) will represent our Jurisdiction this year in Tampa, Florida at AIM.
The Jurisdictional Youth Department Pageant Program will be held June 16 through June 19th
during the Greater North Carolina Jurisdiction 2015 AIM Convention. The lady crowned Queen will
participate in our National AIM’s Young Women of Excellence (COGIC Girls Rock Award Ceremony)
in 2016! We are asking that if you are interested please submit your registration information
before April 30, 2015 so that we can prepare our incentive packages.
The Mission of the Ladies of Excellence Pageant is to provide opportunities for growth and
development amongst young ladies of Greater North Carolina through talent, team work, public
speaking and non-profit business development; To uphold a standard of holiness and purity for God
in all areas of life according to Second Corinthians 6:17 “being separate from the world” and “caring
for the things of the Lord” according to First Corinthians 7:34.
Funds from the Pageant will aid in supporting the 2016 AIM Convention expenses, provide
educational stipends for participating ladies and some funds will be used to sponsor a portion of
the queen’s trip to participate in the National Auxiliaries In Ministries (AIM) Young Women of
Excellence Program COGIC Girls Rock ceremony in 2016.
Would you consider having a representative from your District? The entry fee is $250 and each
lady walks away from the pageant with gifts and life changing opportunities. We will begin to
accept applications via email immediately. We do ask that you wait to turn in monies on January
17, 2015, during the 1st Jurisdictional AIM Rally. We are asking that you also consider inviting
multiple girls to participate in the “COGIC Girls Rock” program with an entry fee of $50. You may
have multiple young ladies from your district to participate in this program. If you should have any
questions prior to our follow up, you may contact us at the phone numbers below.
