In a blow to India’s air safety thirteen Flight Operations Inspectors (FOI) working with DGCA Delhi have resigned to
protest their transfer to Mumbai and Chennai.

For the first time, the seizure of gold through smuggling by customs, police and revenue agencies has crossed Rs
1000 cr (3500 Kgs) in 2014-15. In 2012-13, this amount was merely Rs 100 cr.

Charter Communications agreed to buy its much larger rival Time Warner Cable for $56.7 billion in a deal that

Container train operators have sought a cap on haulage hikes of not more than 5 per cent a year which was
conveyed to the Railway board. Haulage charges account for up to 60-70 per cent of the operating cost of a
container train operator.
