Requirements
Rehearsals
To qualify for Immortal, dancers must have completed the Topaz level or above in the 2014-2015
season AND participated in either Showstoppers,
Dynamite, Heartbeat, or Nutcracker. Dancers
also must have 80% attendance in classes.
Summer Bootcamp Rehearsals
August 24th-28th - Basking Ridge
August 31th-Sept. 1st - Branchburg
1 hour and 20 minute rehearsals per subject each
day.
To compete in any given subject area,
dancers must be enrolled in the following
classes for the upcoming 2015-2016 season:
Ballet: Enrolled in at least two ballet classes.
Fall Rehearsals
Rehearsals will begin on Sunday, September 13th
and will meet every Sunday until the November
competitions. Rehearsals could be at any location. Although November competition dates are
not finalized, there will be 1 mandatory Thursday night rehearsals before the first competition and the following mandatory rehearsals
(10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 11,29).
Jazz: Enrolled in at least one jazz class and one
ballet class.
Tap: Enrolled in at least one tap class and one
ballet class.
Modern: Enrolled in at least one modern class
and one ballet class.
Contemporary: Enrolled in at least one
contemporary and one ballet class.
Hip-Hop: Enrolled at least two hip-hop classes,
or one hip-hop and one class in any other
discipline (ballet, tap, jazz, modern).
Solos,Duos & Trios
To compete as a solo, duo or trio performer, dancers must also compete in the same discipline with
a group.
During the Summer (most dancers will rehearse
only in Bootcamp but some can arrange to begin
earlier or the first two weeks in August, Solos/Duets/Trios will receive:
• 1 phone call to choose music and theme
• 2 -One-hour sessions with choreographer to set
piece
• 3-30-minute sessions with choreographer
followed by 15 minutes of independent practice
• 5-30-minute independent practice sessions

Each group will be assigned a 45 min - 1 hour time
block for rehearsal. Schedules will be released
the week of July 6th. Dancers will have until July
15th to withdraw their enrollment and receive
their refunded $20 fee. Immortal rehearsals will
most likely not conflict with classes or Nutcracke.
Dancers are only permitted one absence from
a non-mandatory rehearsal.
Pairings & Costumes
Registration
& Groupings
Dancers are required to register by June 20th and
submit a $20 refundable registration fee in order
to be placed on the team. Dancers may register to
participate in multiple disciplines.
Groupings
All groupings are determined by the Immortal
Faculty. Groupings are based on each dancer’s
audition scores ( Showstopper/Dynamite and or
Nutrcracker) and the total hours of weekly dance
instruction. Competition judges determine scoring based on these parameters. Dancers will be
notified in early July as to groupings. In order to
compete on Pointe, dancers must have scored in
the top 30% of auditions.
Competitions
Immortal Dance Force will compete in two NJ
competitions in November. Competition dates are
not released until Late-July. In the past, competitions have been held in mid- November.

Fees
During the Fall Solos/Duets/Trios will receive:
• 1 0 - 20-minute coaching sessions followed by
10 minute independent practice
• 1 -30-minute coaching with board member
• 1 -30-minute coaching session with teacher
Pairings & Costumes
Dancers requesting to perform as a Duo or Trio
must have a comparable ability level, height and
body shape. All Pairings and Costumes are determined by the Immortal Faculty and Board.If you
competed in a Solo, Duo or Trio and would like to
repeat last year’s dance we that’s a great opportunity to learn and grow. Please contact Miss
Kathleen to learn about discounted rates.
*Extra practice will be billed at private lesson
rates.
Charges are due in FULL by 7/31/15. Payments may
be split into 2 payments (Half on 7/31/15 & 10/1/15).
Families must contact the Office to request
the payment plan by July 20th.
