California Pavement Maintenance has been contracted to Slurry from 5461
Grassy Run Road to Buck Mountain Road, and Buck Mountain Road, from
Greenstone Road to 5354 Buck Mountain Road.
Due to the width of the roadway (17’ feet) the road will be CLOSED to allow
workers to apply slurry in a safe manner. Closure of the road will shorten the
amount of time for slurry to dry in one application.
Work will start at 8:45 AM with cleaning and sweeping of the road, followed by
the application of slurry beginning between 9:00 AM and 10 AM
approximately.
At the point that slurry is being applied, the road will be barricaded and no
traffic will be permitted to travel through the work area.

Road will be opened, once the slurry is dry - Depending on the temperature,
the slurry will take five to six hours to dry. The barricades will be removed
when the slurry is dry and will not adhere to or damage vehicles.
