Greece Community Education in conjunction with AAA Western & Central New York Driver Education Summer 2015 A Program for High School Students  Students who successfully complete the requirements of this non-credit course will receive a Student Certificate of Completion (formerly known as the Blue Card), insurance premium reduction letter (check with your insurance company regarding the amount of reduction), the MV278 (5-hour Safe Driving Certificate), and a one year basic AAA membership. The Student Certificate of Completion will be mailed to students after September 9, 2015.  Students must be 16 years of age and have a Learners Permit before June 26, 2015.  Students must attend both theory and car group classes. The in-car component provides 24 hours of instruction (during which the student will be at the wheel 6 hours). There will be 24 hours of classroom theory work which will include some homework.  This program will teach the basics but additional driving practice outside of class is expected.  The Pre-Licensing 5 Hour Course is included in Driver Education.  There is a minimum enrollment needed to run the program. Schedule is subject to change.  Registrations are accepted by mail and in person. Last day to register is June 19 or until the session is filled. Registrations will be processed when they are received on a first come first served basis.  Location: Arcadia Middle School 130 Island Cottage Road, Rochester, 14612  Cost: $449 residents/$459 non residents - a textbook is included in the fee.  There is a $20 withdrawal fee.
