In this issue: In Use & Under Construction.... 2-3 In The Works...................4 In the news Rutt Academic Center, Lancaster Mennonite School In 2009, GS upgraded to REVIT software, which allows building modeling in 3-D that is shared at all stages as a digital model by architects and engineers. Any changes made during the design process are automatically updated throughout the entire project. This seamless change process means designers are immediately alerted to design conflicts, such as ones between structure and mechanical systems. When fully utilized, an engineer can perform structural analysis from the same digital model. 2009 Project Awards Mid-Atlantic Construction Magazine: Best of 2009 Awards, Award of Merit-K-12 for Rutt Academic Center, Lancaster Mennonite School.
