FUNCTIONS PACK 2015 THE AREAS THE CHAPEL The Chapel is the Greenwood Hotel’s largest space and is located in the Eastern wing of the building. This wide, rectangular space features polished floorboards, a cathedral ceiling, rafters, tall arched windows on three of its four walls and has multiple access points including entry to both our Southern and Northern courtyards. Ideally suited to corporate events, launches, large celebrations and birthdays, the Chapel can comfortably accommodate dance floor space as well as seats and tables. Booking of Chapel can include a portion of either courtyard space upon request. Capacity: Up to 400 guests standing or 1,000 with a courtyard Special Features: - Projector with 2.4 m screen and lap top connection point - DJ Booth - 2x CD Players - 1x Mixer - 1x PA system & Microphone - Male & Female Bathrooms - Ipod Connectivity - Wifi COCKTAIL BAR The Cocktail Bar is located in the heart of the Greenwood Hotel. With leather seating across the back wall, high south-facing windows and polished floorboards throughout, this modestly-sized bar contains low, plush seating and ottomans and is best suited to small birthday parties, intimate celebrations or casual work drinks. Booking of the Cocktail Bar can include a portion of courtyard space upon request. Capacity: Up to 50 guests standing 2 LOUNGE BAR The Lounge Bar is a secluded space in the West wing of the Greenwood Hotel. Best suited for moderately sized functions of any nature this elegant bar features an L-shaped lounge that wraps the wall and a raised platform at the front of the room that can serve a variety of purposes. Booking of the Lounge Bar can include a portion of courtyard space upon request. Capacity: Up to 100 guests standing Special Features: - Projector with 2.4 m screen and lap top connection point - DJ Booth - 2x CD Players - 1x Mixer - 1x PA system & Microphone - Above equipment is available free of charge - Sound technician not included, however can be supplied at an additional charge. - Please note only two tap beers are available in the Lounge Bar. Bottled Beer, Wines and Spirits are available as normal. SOUTHERN COURTYARD The Southern Courtyard is the smaller of our two outdoors areas, is rectangular in shape and features an undercover awning area as well as several outdoor table settings. The Southern courtyard is available for hire in conjunction with hire of the Public Bar only. Capacity: 500 guests standing 3 FURTHER INFORMATION Availability - All functions must conclude by midnight (12am) unless by prior arrangement. The Greenwood Hotel has four separate bars and ample outdoor space to accommodate multiple bookings. Management reserve the right to book multiple functions at the hotel on one evening. Entertainment We can put you in touch with our resident DJ’s. Prices vary and are at the client’s cost, and are not included in the hotel’s minimum spend requirements. Clients may arrange their own DJ and are welcome to use our equipment, however, please be sure to communicate exactly what is required. Any damage to hotel equipment is incurred at the clients cost. A site inspection is recommended prior to the event. Clients may also arrange for live music/bands however please be advised this is suitable for indoors only and in the Lounge Bar or Public Bar only dependant on band size. Bands must supply all of their own equipment. This is only possible if the client has exclusive use of area. Musical entertainment is not permitted outdoors, unless by prior arrangement with the hotel. 4 Security Professional security guards are provided Monday-Friday free of charge. Weekend functions require 1 guard per 100 at a cost of $45.00 p/hr per guard (Min 4 hours) at the client’s cost. Guests The Greenwood Hotel is a licensed venue for persons over the age of 18 years old. Guests under the age of 18 years are only permitted to attend functions by prior arrangement with hotel management. Underage patrons will not be permitted in the Public Bar or Club bar regardless of whether they are with a guardian or not. Management reserve the right to cease your function immediately and without notice if unauthorized underage guests attend a function. Please consult the Functions Manager if you have any questions or concerns regarding this. No refund or discount will be provided to the client if actual numbers of attending guests fails to reach the estimated number of guests indicated during event preparation and as indicated on function booking form. Management reserve the right to remove from your function any patrons who are; under-age, deemed intoxicated, violent or disruptive. Payment - Cancellation fee of 50% of estimated spend will be charged to credit card when less than seven (7) days notice is given. 100% of food cost will be charged when less than 72 hrs notice is given. Payment is by cash, EFT or credit only (visa, mastercard, AMEX) We do not accept cheques In the event of payment via cheque or invoice the total amount due is required before the completion of the function.
