Camps, swimming sports, Kids Lit Quiz, Family Fiesta the list goes on….. In between this are assessments, instructional reading, writing and mathematics, physical education programmes, digital learning and science. Friday evening’s Family Fiesta reflected our school culture in many ways – it was focused, it was fun and it was about whanau. Thank you so much to Nina, Carmen and Stacey and their team for bringing $11,500 into our future – focused school. These extra funds enable us to provide the best opportunities for our learners. In such a short term we have achieved so much and this will be celebrated on Thursday at 11am at our final assembly Happy Easter! ANZAC REMEMBERANCE ASSEMBLY: On Friday 24 April our school will remember the soldiers who lost their lives in WWI particularly the ex-students and teachers who attended Grey Main School. We will hold this assembly at Dixon Park beside the Grey Main Gates, so keep this date free as it will be a special day for today’s learners. WESTREAP OSCAR HOLIDAY PROGRAMME: 7th – 10th April 2015. Karoro Suburbs Rugby Club Rooms. A holiday programme for children aged 5-13 years. A coin trail is being created. Please be generous and send coins along. Every coin helps. 2015 ICAS – International Competition and Assessment for Schools: Grey Main Learners Years 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8 have the opportunity to sit ICAS exams. The subjects offered are Science, English and Mathematics.
