Term Two Information Elite Crew Auditions
Wow, we have a busy term ahead of
us! Welcome to all of our new
dancers and families this term !
Our mid-year show is coming up on
the 4th of July so make sure you
save the date. All dancers are required to wear red Groovit gear.
We will be sizing everyone up in
week three for a t-shirt so make
sure you come along to class if you
need one. In other exciting news,
Groovit is pleased to announce a
new owner! You will all know her
already - Georgie! She is now officially the boss taking over the family business, so if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact her. Rachel has decided to pursue her other passion aside from
dance– fashion– and will be working for Annah Stretton in Pukekohe. Make sure you go in and see
her, she’ll be able to style you to
make you look fabulous. She will
still be around the studio so she
isn’t going far!
Thank you to everyone who came
along and auditioned! Congratulations to all of those who made it into
one of our five crews. And if you
haven't heard already, we have started up a new crew called the
Prodigies. This is a development
crew and is a great opportunity for
dancers to grow towards a role in Ka
-Motion Krew.
The prompt payment date for fees
is the Monday 8th May so make
sure you get your fees paid prior to
receive the 20% discount.
We will be putting an order through
for these this term so let us know if
you want one and what size. They
are $35 each and will be available to
collect before the show.
Sponsorship
Every year we have new uniforms
for the elite crews and need some
sponsorship to help keep them looking fabulous! If you are interested in
becoming a sponsor please contact
Georgie. We advertise at our numerous community events, on our show
posters, at shows and this year on
our actual uniforms. These crews
perform all over Auckland , and are
very well established in the Franklin
community! We have had some
wonderful support over the years
and it would be fantastic to keep this
going.

Mid-Year Show 4th
July
All classes will be busy learning a
couple of new routines for the show
so please make sure you attend each
class so you don’t miss out on anything! We will be sizing everyone up
for t-shirts in week 3 so please come
along so we can order you the right
size. These are $20 and all dancers
are required to wear one for the
show. Rehearsal week is the week
before the show, the schedule with
detailed days and times will be sent
out in a few weeks.
Term One Videos
Thank you to everyone who came to
our video week! The final videos look
awesome and if you want to get a
DVD they are $15 and available to
purchase at the Studio. Also a massive thank you to everyone who came
to our premier night, your donations
will be going towards our new elite
crew uniforms!

clothing or skirts/dresses without tights)

It is preferable families do not stay in the studio from Phunky Feet up

