The Gunderson Foundation is offering scholarships for outstanding 12th grade student(s) in
Art and Industrial Arts. To qualify, students must have a grade of “B” or better, in Art or
Industrial Arts classes, with a cumulative GPA of 2.5. To apply, students must submit this
application with a representative portfolio of their work. Work may be submitted in the
DVD/CD form, or hard copy. Students may also submit work as a virtual portfolio
(website); however, a valid URL must be submitted with the application. The applicant’s
Art/Industrial Arts teacher is required to sign this application.
The Foundation will award up to $500 in scholarship(s) in the category of Outstanding Art,
and up to $500 in scholarship(s) in the category of Industrial Arts.
Please write legibly and submit this application along with your portfolio to Mr. Bejarano’s
office by Wednesday, April 22, 2015. You may attach additional pages, if necessary.
Applications will be judged the following week by Foundation members. The recipient(s)
will be notified by Friday, May 8, 2015, and will be recognized at the Senior Awards Night
on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
Scholarship funds will be released upon proof of enrollment in a post-high school
program, college or university. Request for scholarship funds must be made to
the Gunderson Foundation by Friday, September 25, 2015.
