Show Jumping – to continue to run in the new format tried for 2014. See separate schedule.
Dressage – classes denoted with * are currently combined but if entries allow then class will be split and placing’s given as a separate class only if entries exceed
10 competitors in the combined class:- Restricted will be based on horse/rider combination having not been placed 1 st – 3rd twice or more at any dressage show at
that level – please note R on the entry form. Lead rein competitors are permitted to enter classes 1 & 2 only. Classes 7 and 8 are run on % basis.
Surface – Dressage: warm up on outdoor surface, test indoor surface.
Entry Fees – Dressage: £9 per class (pre entry only). Non-members are welcome, but will be required to pay £5 day membership.
Rosettes to 6th place in dressage.
Times – Dressage times will be sent via email on the Thursday Evening prior to the show from 8pm onwards. Those without email will be contacted by phone/text
with their times.
Entries close on the Tuesday prior to show weekend. No phone/text/email entries please.
Withdrawing: Please contact the Entries Secretary asap on 01379 586376 or [email protected]. Any withdrawals after the closing date must be
accompanied by vet or doctors note to allow full refund unless a replacement competitor can be allocated.
In the event of needing to restrict entries these will be allocated strictly by date receipt order.
Club Website – www.hadrc.co.uk will be having a revival for 2015 – we hope to use the same name but will keep you advised.
Venue – Broads Equestrian Centre, Church Farm, Barnby,
Leagues: Please note that only members are eligible to enter the leagues. Points will be awarded in both Dressage:- 10 for 1st, 8 for 2nd, 6 for 3rd, 4 for 4th, 3 for
5th, 2 for 6th & 1 point for entering the class. Prizes will be awarded to the overall winners & runners-up at the AGM. The Dressage League will be split into Senior
& Junior (under 18 years as of 1st January 2014). Cumulative points leagues for Intro, Prelim, Novice & Elementary classes will run over the season. An additional
Freestyle league will continue for 2015 sponsored by E Fosdike. Show Jumping league will be for Novice, Intermediate and Open levels.
RULES: Competitions will be run under BRITISH RIDING CLUBS rules. Where a specific situation is not covered within these rules, the official rules for BRITISH
DRESSAGE & BSJA shall apply. In all cases, the judges decision is final.
DRESSAGE: Where possible, we will use British Dressage Listed Judges. Where this is not possible, our Judges will be experienced competitors and/or unaffiliated
Judges. All tests will be current British Dressage Tests. Jackets & gloves must be worn. Gaiters are permitted, but no chaps or half-chaps. Hats must be worn &
comply with current minimum safety standards – EN1384, ASTMF1163 or PAS015. Whips must not exceed 110cms in length. Jewellery must not be worn.
At all of our shows, in hot weather, the Judge may permit competitors to remove their jackets, but only if a long sleeved shirt is worn.
ELIGIBILITY RULES: riders are asked to enter classes appropriate to the horse/rider combination ability & experience.
Riders underestimating the combinations ability may be asked to consider the class as H/C & enter the next appropriate class.
GENERAL:
WITHDRAWING: There will be no refund or entry carry forward for withdrawals received after the close of entries.
LUNGEING: is not permitted.
CHILDREN: under the age of 14yrs MUST be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
DOGS: on leads are allowed.
Horses/Ponies under 4 years may enter classes as H/C only.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry.
The organisers ask that horses/ponies are not left tied to their trailers/lorries whilst unattended.
Please observe and respect any signs displayed by Broads or HDRC.
Please clear away and take home any litter or droppings.
The organisers accept no responsibility in respect of any accident, loss, damage, injury, illness to horse, rider, owner or spectator or to any property whatsoever.
