System requirements
What are the system requirements for AT&T Connect® Mobile for iPhone®?
The requirements are:
•
iOS 6.0 and higher.
•
An active 3G/4G/LTE cellular network or WiFi connection (AT&T Connect Mobile does not
function in airplane-mode).
Does AT&T Connect Mobile for iPhone work on EDGE/GSM networks?
The application works on EDGE/GSM networks, but with audio-only or data-only. To illustrate, let’s
say that a participant is working on a 3G/WiFi network which is connected with both audio and
data. If the 3G/WiFi network becomes unavailable, the participant will “fall back” to the
EDGE/GSM network. In this case, the data will be disconnected and only the audio will remain
connected. This means that participants have audio but cannot view the Participants list and
whiteboard content, or send notes.
Does AT&T Connect Mobile for iPhone work on a 2G iPhone?
The application works on a 2.5G iPhone, but with audio-only or data-only. With data-only,
participants can view the Participants list and whiteboard content and send notes, but cannot use
audio. With audio-only, participants have audio but cannot view the Participants list and
whiteboard content, or send notes.
What is the data speed of AT&T Connect Mobile for iPhone?
The data speed of the application on your iPhone is derived from the network—either the mobile
3G/4G/LTE network or WiFi.
How much iPhone battery life does AT&T Connect Mobile for iPhone consume?
Using audio with AT&T Connect Mobile for iPhone is equal to regular talk-time battery usage.
Connecting to the application on the Internet is equal to Internet battery usage.

We’ve improved the visual quality of shared applications.
I’m not an AT&T Connect customer. Can I still use AT&T Connect Mobile for iPhone?
If you’re not an AT&T Connect customer, you can join a conference from the email invitation you
received from the host. First, download the AT&T Connect Mobile application from the App
Store℠ and then tap on the conference link in the invitation. You can also join from your iPhone
using the application’s Join option.
Is there an additional charge for using AT&T Connect Mobile for iPhone?
There is no additional charge. However, if your company has enabled the Call Me feature, you may
be charged for the incoming call, based on your cellular plan.
Which countries support AT&T Connect Mobile for iPhone?
The application is supported wherever iPhones are supported and 3G/4G/LTE/WiFi networks are
available.
Which languages are supported?
AT&T Connect Mobile for iPhone is available in English only.
Can I use the Call Me feature?
If your company has enabled the Call Me feature, you can use it. AT&T Connect Mobile for iPhone
will call out to the phone number you provided in the personal details area (in the Welcome
screen) right after you joined the conference. Once you accept the call and press the number 1,
your iPhone will be automatically linked. If the Call Me feature is available, it may be configured
not to work outside North America. You can add or modify your phone numbers by tapping the
Info & Profile button in the home screen and then tapping My Phone Numbers in the Accounts
screen.
How do I connect my audio?
When you join a conference, you will be asked whether you'd like to connect to the audio using
VoIP or your phone. If you select VoIP, you will be immediately connected to the audio. If you
select phone, you will be called back at the number of your choosing (if your conference site has
the Call Me feature enabled). If you choose not to use the Call Me feature, you can tap Alternate
Dial-In Numbers to view a list of call-in numbers.

button?
The audio connection continues in the background. You will still be able to hear the other
participants as well as talk.

prompted in the Welcome Page to fill in your details before joining the conference.
