10. Testimonials
The board has asked two parents to provide their opinion about the education provided at
Immanuel Christian School. They have agreed to submit the following statements and are
willing to discuss them.
I have three children enrolled in Immanuel Christian School and am very pleased with the school’s
commitment to a very high educational standard alongside a view of the Christian faith which
encompasses all of life. Emphasis is placed on class devotions, prayer, memory work, and a study
of many different aspects of God’s world (language, math, reading, etc.). They have an excellent
music program. Teachers are well-trained, dedicated and effective. Parents are active and involved.
Children are being taught well.
- Keith Cameron, Parent involved with the school for two years.
It has been a privilege to have our children enrolled at Immanuel Christian School for the past 19
years. It has been a very good school. At times we were faced with small issues that we disagreed with
but we were always able to come to an amicable result.
Over the past years, as parents, we have also learned to step back and look at the bigger picture.
A picture that recognizes that all of living, including education, is to be lived under the Lordship of
Jesus Christ. Our children have been taught this and as parents we are still working on putting that
theology into practice.
- Eric and Evelina Hartemink, Parents involved with the school for 19 years.
