During my second year of employment we joined forces with award winning PR company Golin, to boost their Digital capability. Architect became part of a large international organisation. My main responsibilities involve designing for a variety of different media platforms. From apps and games, microsites and large responsive websites to designing entire brand identities for online campaigns. I’m good at coming up with creative ideas for big pitches, sometimes without a solid brief and sometimes with very strict brand guidelines. All this whilst working in collaboration with our in-house UX team and front-end developers, to create the best results and experience for the client within a project’s budget constraints. MAIN ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Lead designer for Tesco responsive staff site & app ‘Our Tesco’ ‘Our Tesco‘ is a huge platform for all Tesco employees to use across the UK. As part of the initial pitch material and concept, my layouts went towards helping win Tesco as a client for the agency. Since then, ‘Our Tesco’ has grown and now looks to become part of a bigger - more global package. Lead designer for Zippo’s digital social media campaign ‘#ShareThePain’. In collaboration with Weber Shandwick, Architect created a look and feel that complimented Zippo’s already established brand. As lead designer, my designs were used across the whole campaign, as content for social media accounts, the microsite, and its interactive videos. The Campaign secured 1,124 pieces of global coverage with a reach of over 3 billion people. Testament to the success of the campaign was the number of tweets and Facebook posts received by Zippo from fans asking if the limited edition #ShareThePain lighters I mocked up in Photoshop were available to buy. Lead designer for ‘The Bananagrams Challenge’ game and website. Designed ‘The Bananagrams Challenge’. An educational website and game for teachers and students, made up of 3 different levels. I worked closely with our in-house games and apps team. Schools could register online so their pupils could compete to win the title of the UK’s ‘Top Banana’ for 2015.
