Wood Counters: In general, wood is not a good countertop material. It takes very high maintenance to
keep sealed and dents easily without an easy fix. It's a fine choice to edge a countertop, however
Laminate Countertops: The most popular option because it's the least expensive. If you take care of
the surface, your countertop will last decades. Watch out for scratches and scuffs! They are impossible
to repair, so you'll need to replace
Solid Surface Countertops: Corian is a common man-made material that's solid but can simulate the
look and feel of stone or marble.
Stainless Steel Countertops provide a commercial, sterile environment. Heavier gauges of steel are
virtually indestructible; lighter gauges are suspect to dents. It is expensive

Total Loss Valuation & Claim Settlement Assistance
In the event the insurance adjuster elects to settle your
claim based on a total loss basis (repair cost, plus salvage
value approaches or exceeds the pre accident market
value), we can provide you the information that is needed
to help assure a fair and reasonable settlement.
Example:
A.
B.
C.
D.
Market Value
Repair cost
Salvage Value
Total B & C
$75,000.
$50,000.
$10,000.
$60,000.
B + C = $60,000 and is 80% of A $75,000, the RV's Market Value.
Generally insurance companies offer a total loss
settlement when the repair cost plus the salvage value
equals or exceeds 80% of the fair market value. Values
lower than 80% are generally considered repairable, and
values higher than 80% are generally considered a total
loss.

Tire blow outs can cause substantial
damage to your RV including: floor, inner
& outer walls, wire bundles, plumbing,
etc. To reduce repair time, we stock
most of the commonly damaged parts.
Remember, RV tires should be replaced every
5 years, even if the tread looks like new.

Fiberglass Cap Repair
Depending on the extent and location of
damage, the cap may require removal from
the RV. Access is needed to apply a
fiberglass/resin reinforcement backer on
the rear side of the cap. Caps flex and vibrate
during use. If the backer step is not carried
out, the cap will begin to split and crack in the
repaired area.

Stripes & Graphics Renewed - Motorhomes, 5th Wheels & Travel Trailers
Renew your old stripes & graphics (quoted per job).
Factory applied vinyl graphics are usually between 1.2 & 2.0 mils thick (about the
thickness of a trash bag). Depending on exposure to the elements, they have a life
expectancy of 3 to 4 years before they start to look unsightly. Exposure to the sun’s
heat and UV light fade, shrink, and crack the vinyl.
Before / After
When vinyl graphics need replacement, we
recommend removing the old vinyl and
spraying the new graphics with urethane paint
color and clear coated for added protection.
What we do:
 Remove faded and peeling stripes & graphics.
 Apply new paint or vinyl stripes or graphics.
 You have the choice of the original design &
colors or select a new design & colors.
Painted on graphics cost an average of 25% more than vinyl graphics, however, while vinyl
lasts 3 to 4 years, paint can remain glossy the life of your RV.

Front End Paint Chip Protection - We recommend “ArmorCoat”
We recommend “ArmorCoat”
Why ArmorCoat? - The total paint color & clear coat film build or thickness is only 5 to 8
mils (5 to 8/1000 of an inch). These finishes are subject to chipping in just a short time.
The hard properties of automotive paints and clear coats are not very forgiving to the
severe impact caused by larger stones or gravel. When a high speed impact occurs, paint
covered by a hard, thin clear coat has a tendency to shatter leaving a crater sometimes
right down to primer or worse, the bare substrate of the cap.
ArmorCoat is spray installed at a dry film thickness roughly 3 to 4 times greater than
traditional automotive clears. ArmorCoat is a permanent solution to chipping that does
not fade, discolor or crack. It can be repaired and reconditioned.
Clear Vinyl protection film products begin to discolor and crack within the first three
years of installation. Removal of the old vinyl film often damages the fiberglass. The
damage must be repaired including refinishing prior to reapplying the new film.

Understanding Water Damage - Wood Rot, Mold & Delamination
Water Damage
Water intrusion, if not stopped, can cause wood rot damage
to your RV’s roof decking and trusses; exterior fiberglass
walls backed with plywood; slide out floor and walls;
and interior floor decking.
Water can also cause the exterior fiberglass (filon) to
delaminate from the wood (luan), and electrical
issues resulting from wire connection corrosion.
Water can cause mold & spores to grow.
Headliner removed showing roof
wood decking and truss rot. Also,
mold & spores
Mold - is a fungus with its own unique “living style”.
Mold needs 4 ingredients to grow:
Food: Extracts carbon from the substrate it lives
on, wood or plastic made from petroleum
products.
Humidity: Comes from high moisture levels in
surface layers of above the listed materials.
Oxygen: From air.
Rubber roof and wood decking
removed exposing wood rot and
mold.
Temperatures: Mold likes moderate temperatures
as we do.
When mold grows toxic compounds are produced and millions of
spores are released. These particles are airborne and can cause
serious damage to humans!

Delamination (side wall damage) repair
We have successfully repaired small areas less
than 12 inches and removed and replaced
delaminated walls from 4 to 40 ft in length.
We have developed several sectioning and
attaching procedures that help lower labor
and material cost, without compromising quality. The key to successful (delam) repair
is the combination of experience, correct procedures and correct materials.
Water Leak Testing – with our Pressure-Tech™
Early detection is a first step to prevention. Excess moisture
anywhere in a RV can cause unsightly defects, deterioration,
mold and unhealthy living conditions - resulting in unhappy
RV’rs and costly repairs.
Avoid expensive structural, wood rot & mold damage.
What we do:
 Generate a positive interior air pressure
 Apply soapy water solution to the outer skin
 Locate, mark & photo location of water leaks
 If leaking, a repair estimate will be provided

Roof (puncture – tear) Patch Repair
We can “Patch Repair” punctures, tears, and breaks on rubber, fiberglass & metal roofing up
to 10 inches.
What we do:





Clean the damaged surface area
Cut a patch out of the same material as the roof
Apply contact cement to the patch and damaged area
Install the patch & apply butyl caulk to match the surface
Coat the area with liquid roof to restore the seamless features of the original roof
Frame, Suspension & Axle Alignment
Single/Double/Triple Axle Alignment
Axle alignment should be checked after:
 Tire blow outs
 Direct impact to a wheel
 Frame impact
 Off road (curb/gully/pot hole) impact
A trailer or 5th wheel suspension just 1/4" out of alignment over 5000 miles is the
equivalent of dragging your RV sideways for 125 miles! Out of alignment suspensions
create excessive vibration throughout the entire coach. Vibration is the enemy of all
structures and will cause premature failure of appliances, electronics (TVs and
computers), gas and water lines and all the fasteners holding your coach and contents
together
We are an approved dealer/installer for The Mobile Outfitters who are the
manufacture’s the “Correct Track Alignment Kits”.

Power Converter Upgrade
The JTB Power Solution lets you run your 50
amp RV in a 30 amp park without tripping
breakers so you can operate both your RV
air conditioners at the same time from 30
amp park power. The JTB Power Solution is a
power management tool that allows you to
use the typical RV hook-up (30 amp main
service with auxiliary 20 amp circuit or GFCI)
to power appliances in your RV.
Power Inverters - An inverter transforms the DC electricity stored in batteries into
standard household AC power. With a Xantrex inverter you don’t have to rely on hardto-find DC-powered appliances or a noisy generator to enjoy the comforts of home in
your RV.
We recommend Xantrex inverters because they are efficient and reliable devices
that come in a variety of sizes and power ranges to me
et just about any power need. They offer portable models designed for light AC
loads such as small television sets and high powered hardwire units that provide
electricity for larger RVs and boats.
Power Inverters/Chargers - inverter/charger is a combination of an inverter, battery
charger and transfer switch into one complete system. When AC power is available, the
inverter/charger recharges the house batteries. It also allows any surplus AC power to
pass through and power downstream AC loads, such as a television set or microwave
oven. When AC power is disconnected, the unit inverts DC battery power into AC
electricity.

Heating and Cooling
Heating - We sell and service the following heating units:
Atwood
Suburban Hydro Flame
RV ComfortSytems
Upgrade your propane heater with an electric heater from RV Comfort
Systems
Now you can have a choice between gas and
electric central heating system with the simple flip
of a switch. When you choose to run on electric
heat, rather than gas heat, your coach will be
heated by the electricity provided by the RV Park.
"Full timers" can go up to one year or more
without having to refill their propane tanks. With
the RV Comfort System electric heater propane is
only used for incidentals like the stove, or in some
cases the hot water.
Cooling - Want a cooler RV? Some units simply do not have enough BTU output to
cool the area they are intended to cool. Let us install an additional roof top air
conditioner or a higher capacity unit.
We sell and service the following brands of
air conditioners:
 Airxecl Coleman
 Dometic
 Duo-therm
The most prevalent problem with heating & AC units are the
dirty filters. Unclean filters reduce air flow that can cause
freeze-up, electrical, and efficiency problems.

Plumbing: Maintenance, Repair, Replacement & Upgrades
 Water Heaters (we service all types) – Atwood and Suburban
 Hydronic Heating SystemsAqua Hot and Oasis Systems
 Tank less – we can upgrade your exiting water heater
with one of these tank less heaters from:
Girard
Atwood
Precision Temp
 Anode Rod Replacement - RV water heaters have a short metal rod called
an anode rod. The rod attracts corrosive elements in water, attaching to the
anode rod rather than the interior of your water heater's tank, thus protect the
water heater from corrosion (expands the life & efficiency of the tank). The anode
rod should be replaced about every one to two years.
 Water Pump – increase your fresh water pressure with a Shurflo Extreme series
pump.
 Water filtering system – we recommend Culligan Recreational Vehicle water filter
systems. Granular activated carbon filter reduces chlorine taste and odor, bad
taste and odor, sediment and bacteriostatics.
 Black, gray and Fresh water tanks, plus auto drain pumps installed
 Waste valve maintenance, repair & replacement
 Water heater bypass valves installed - RV water heaters typically hold 6-10
gallons of water. In order to prevent having to fill your water heater completely
with antifreeze during winterization, a bypass is installed to eliminate the water
tank from the plumbing circuit, and so both the hot and cold water systems are
tied together. This can save you a lot of money and it makes winterizing much
easier.
