Gingerbread-By-Design Farmhouse Gingerbread House Pattern Approximate size: 11 ½” wide x 7 ½” deep x 10 ¼” tall Chimney Place all four chimney pieces (I, J, I and J) on a flat surface with the four bottom corners touching. Frost edges of each piece. While frosting is still wet, stand-up each piece, connecting pieces together at all edges. If needed, prop each piece with a small soup can. Let dry while assembling house pieces. Walls Place three wall pieces (B, C and F) flat on your base so corners C & B and B & F are touching. Apply a bead of frosting along the base and sides of each piece. Stand-up each walls, connecting pieces to each other at sides. Support with food cans if necessary. Apply bead of frosting to all side edges of small right wall piece D, attach to front gable piece C, forming a normal corner. Apply frosting to all side edges of front wall piece A. While attaching to right side wall piece D, make sure there is room to attach right side wall piece E to back wall piece of F and front wall piece A. When attaching front wall piece A, refer to roof piece H with cut-out section for proper placement. Apply bead of frosting to all side edges of large right side wall piece E, and attach to back wall piece F and front wall piece A. Let dry. Roof Apply bead of frosting to top edges of all walls. Attach gable roof left piece H, lining up top edge and peak of house. Attach gable roof right piece H with cut-out. If cut-out does not quite fit between walls, carefully cut gingerbread piece to allow proper placement of roof piece. Apply frosting down middle of roof line, filling in any gaps of roof. Let dry. Apply frosting on slanted side of main roof front and back pieces G. Attach main roof front piece G, lining up top edge to right peak of house and aligning left side of piece to slant of gable roof. Attach main roof back piece G, lining up top edge to right peak of house and aligning left side of piece to slant of gable roof and Main Roof Front. Attach dried chimney to roofline with frosting.
