Over the course of the last few months, a number
of churches have helped us at Happy Haven in a
number of ways. Following the ice storm earlier
this year, the property at Happy Haven had a
number of fallen trees and many limbs that were
down on the road and on our property. Groups
from the DOUBLE SPRINGS CHURCH OF
CHRIST and the WILLOW AVENUE CHURCH
OF CHRIST came and helped with tree and limb
removal and cleaning up our property. A group
from SYCAMORE CHURCH OF CHRIST helped
clean out the upstairs at our office building and
then transported old items to the recycling center.
We are so thankful for all these groups and their
hard work in volunteering to help Happy Haven in
so many ways. We salute these church groups as
our “Volunteers of the Quarter.”
