Thank you so much all for
attending

child’s
parent/teacher
conference. We had a huge group of new
parents attend our Kindergarten tour last
week.
Looks like another great class of
incoming students. On Friday, April 17th our
Annual Mason’s BBQ will be the highlight of
the evening. Mark your calendars; it will be a
packed house. Thanks again for loaning us
your kids. They are the best!

Mrs. Dye’s 1 Grade Class won Perfect Attendance
for the Month of February. Everyday we enter a
classroom that has perfect attendance into our monthly
drawing. Keep up the good work!
Parent Information Night at Laguna
Middle School Thursday, March 19 for
incoming 7th grade students. Meeting will be in the
Multipurpose Room at 6:30 p.m.
KINDERGARTEN AND PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION
for the 2015 – 2016 school year has begun and will
continue through the summer. You can stop by the
office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at your school of
residence. We will need proof of residence,
immunization records and birth certificate to complete
registration. If you have any other questions please call

Yearbook Staff Needs Your Pictures
It’s your
pictures that make the yearbook. (Jog-a-thon, Fieldtrips,
classroom activities)
Yearbook Sponsors: We need your help again this
year. If you are interested in sponsoring come by the
office and pick up a form. If you have any questions

Wellness Tip: Take a walk or
play outside instead of watching
TV or playing a video game. Limit
leisure screen time.

PLAN AHEAD: SBAC TESTING
Please do not schedule any appointments during the
testing period. It is very important that your child not
miss any days during test dates. Your child’s teacher
will inform you of dates and times for SBAC testing.
(Grades 3 – 6 ONLY)

Make dinner plans, come and join us at Tuesday, March
17th from 5 – 8 p.m. Bring flyer tell cashier you’re
supporting Hawthorne School and 50% of the proceeds
will be donated to our school. (Maddona Plaza Only!)

We are trying to send
messages through either text or email. If you have not
been receiving any of these you are probably blocked. If
you would like to receive text messages send a text to
68453 with either the following word “subscribe”.
This will “UNBLOCK” them and should allow you to
receive text sent via School Messenger.
Yearbook Photos The deadline to submit photos for
the yearbook is quickly approaching. Follow these easy steps
to upload your digital photos to the Hawthorne folder:
1) Create an account by going to Lifetouch site
community.lifetouch.com you must include an email
address, name, and create a password.
2) Hawthorne Community Image Upload Site Access
Code: JAHWBT.
3) You can upload up to 5 pictures at a time. Please
include a keyword and/or a description of each photo.
Also each upload must have a category from the drop
down menu choose a teacher name.
Please submit photos as often as you like. We need your
pictures to make the yearbook special. Everyone please start
uploading now. Deadline for photo submissions is March
30th. So upload your photos NOW!

have Jamba Juice for sale!
