Weddings at Haven’s Kitchen
Haven’s Kitchen is an elegant and welcoming venue for weddings.
Designed by founder, Alison Cayne, our Chelsea carriage house features three
event spaces, available individually or combined. Our chefs and service team work closely
with each couple to create a celebration that reflects the story of relationship, and the
way they choose to begin their married life together. Cocktails, canapés and meals
are created with an emphasis on community and local ingredients.

Our Space
Our three-story carriage house is an intimate setting with one-of-a-kind details to stage an elegant and
romantic New York wedding. Guests rent each floor individually or may combine the spaces. Wedding
celebrations range from a twelve person seated dinner following a City Hall ceremony to three floor
blowouts for up to 200 people.
Inside, Haven’s Kitchen features a gallery wall with original art, antique and vintage furniture with custom
upholstery, reclaimed wood farm-style tables and white chairs. We feature Bauscher dinnerware, Rona
glassware, Jono Pandolfi ceramics and vintage serviceware. The entire space is outfitted with a QSC sound
system that channels music to all three floors.

Traditional Weddings
For wedding celebrations with a seated ceremony and meal, we host up to 80 people, utilizing two floors.
Cocktail Celebrations
For larger groups, we accommodate up to 150 guests over two floors, with a standing ceremony and
celebration that features cocktails as well as passed and stationary food in lieu of a seated meal.
Rehearsal Dinners, Bridal Showers, Engagement Parties
To complement the grand celebration, our event team develops and executes all types of parties leading
up to the big day. Below are some examples of what we can offer:
Easy Entertaining
For up to 24 students, we have a curriculum offering called “Easy Entertaining” to provide a hands-on
experience for everyone. Groups will be split into two teams: one team works in the kitchen creating a festive
spread for a cocktail party while the other half learns how to make cocktails to complement the food. At the
end, the two teams will gather in the dining room to showcase and enjoy their accomplishments. Guests can
find inspiration for their curriculum from different parts of the globe—a Middle Eastern meze, pinchos from
Spain or a 1950s cocktail party.
Easy Entertaining for up to 24 Students $4,500
Interactive Cocktail Party for 25 to 80
Guests will take over the third floor with party stations for interactive moments amidst the cocktail mingle.
Guests may participate in such activities as learning to shuck an oyster, the elements of a perfect cheer plate,
or the how-tos of creating your next best holiday cocktail. Stations will be managed by our expert staff and
available for two hours of your event. For those who want to have fun and leave the work to Haven’s Kitchen,
we’ll fill each station with ready to go party supplies.
Interactive Cocktail hour starts at $125/pp for three stations plus five passed canapés
