Hawes' 2015 4-^ of July float is officially in the planning stages
For those of you who don't know, we won first place/best school float in
Ridgewood's 4* of July parade in
2014-2013 & 2012
And We Are Going To Do It Again!
The 2015 parade theme is:
American Innovation"

This is a fun Hawes community affair where kids and parents work together.
The HSA and Dr. Sem. wouldn't have it any other way.
Last year we built a 20 foot ship and Dr. Sem. sailed the ship all the way through the parade.
Initial design meefing announcements will go out soon. The meeting date and
time will be announced via email and will be scheduled sometime around the
middle of March.
The initial design meeting is usually attended by the heavy builders and anyone
who has an idea.
Feel free to email ideas as well.
Also keep your eye out for the 4th of July T-Shirt design competition happening
in April! This event helps support this great tradition!"
The theme this year is a good one and is sure to inspire competitive floats.
Together, we must use our imaginations and skills to build another winning
float
