The Very First
Elementary Graduate
We are excited to announce our very first elementary graduate
student this year, Kaito Kitakami in Mr. Highfield s class. He is not
only receiving our first elementary graduation certificate but also
passed the entry exams for the following private schools in Japan:
Hiroo Gakuen/Kumon Kokusai Gakuen/Mita Kokusai Gakuen.
Congratulations, Kaito!
Spring Vacation
Spring Vacation is from Monday, March 16th to Monday, April 6th. The Spring
Term will start on Tuesday, April 7th,.
Spring School
Spring School is a time for academics and fun for everyone!! Beginning on Monday,
March 23rd, the program will consist of two sessions spanning the course of two
weeks. The program is designed to provide readiness for the new school year and we
are planning to do experiments and cooking activities! Please check the letter for more
information.
This year s themes are:
Session 1 : Young Scientists
Session 2:Young Chefs
If you would like to attend Spring School, please send the application form along with
the tuition fee and, if needed, the extend stay fee (=school bus fee) and lunch fee.
School Bus, Lunch & Folders
Please notify the school by March 12th, Friday about any changes in children s bus or
lunch schedule. Also the parents of the children who are continuing with the previous
school lunch schedule throughout the new school year will need to email us by the
same date. Please do not lose or throw away the current School Folder. Children will
continue to use it during the next school year. It needs to be brought back to school on
Tuesday, April 7th. We will have ask you to re-purchase the folder if you do not bring it
back. It is 500 yen per folder (we accept yen only).
End of the Year Show &
Graduation Ceremony
We will be holding the End of the Year Show & Graduation Ceremony on Saturday,
March 14th. Please confirm the location before you come to the hall.
Doors Open:9:30am
Show Time:10:00am - 12:45am
Place:Nagisa Hall, on the Second Floor of Zushi Bunka Plaza Hall
Students meeting up time & place:Outside No.1 Entrance of Nagisa Hall by 9:30am
Please make sure your child is at the hall on time. Parking is limited so we highly
recommend that you use public transportation.
