IFM’S 40TH GRADUATION CEREMONY FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28,
2014.
The Graduation ceremony run by the Institute of Finance Management
(IFM) will be held on Friday, November, 28, 2014 at 13.00 hours at the
Karimjee Hall. The Minister for Finance Hon. Saada S. Mkuya (MP) will be
the guest of honor.
Those who wish to participate in the aforesaid ceremony are hereby
requested to observe the following:
1. ALL GRADUANDS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THEIR NAMES IN THE
INSTITUTE’S WEBSITE (www.ifm.ac.tz) BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH
THE PROCEDURE OUTLINED BELOW.
2. Online confirmation of the intent to participate in the ceremony
through the Student Information System (SIS) via www.ifm.ac.tz,
not later than 10th of November 2014. Use your login
credentials to access the SIS.
3. Only those who will confirm their participation online in the SIS will
be considered for participation and hiring graduation gowns.
4. Graduands who wish to hire graduation gowns should pay Tsh.
50,000/= to The Institute of Finance Management account number
01J1042984102 . Failure to return the graduation gown on time,
the graduate will be required to pay a penalty of 10,000/= each day
for all the days he /she would have stayed with the gown. All
graduation gowns will be issued at the Council Chamber as follows.
Faculty of Accounting Banking and Finance - 17/11/2014 19/11/2014, from 1400 hours to 1700 hours.
 Faculty of Computing , Information Systems and Mathematics 20/11/2014 – 21/11/2014 from 1400 hours to 1700 hours
 Faculty of Economics and Management Science and Faculty of
Insurance and Social Protection -24/11/2014-26/11/2014 from
1400 hours to 1700 hours.

5. A Rehearsal will be held at the Karimjee Hall on November 28, 2014
from 0900 hours to 1100 hours. Those who will not participate in the
rehearsal will not be allowed to participate in the graduation
ceremony and will graduate in absentia.
6. Upcountry graduands are expected to make their own travel and
accommodation arrangements.
