HCA de San Antonio - 6th Annual Excellence through Diversity Awards Gala Our 6th Annual “Excellence through Diversity Awards Gala” is July 24th at the fabulous Eilan Hotel and Resort. The 2015 awards program will be another amazing evening of food, beverages, music and recognition of diversity excellence within our “Night in Old Havana” theme. We encourage everyone to participate in this exciting program by nominating themselves, their clients and/or their peers. The HCA de San Antonio will recognize diversity excellence at several levels within three categories: Owners, General Contractors and Small Businesses & Contractors. We will also honor a Construction Safety Program and a Safety Volunteer of the Year. Nominations will be judged by an Awards Committee comprised of the HCA Executive Board and several individuals from the Gala Committee. Membership in the HCA is not a prerequisite to be nominated or selected as a category winner. Our goal is to recognize diversity excellence, regardless of membership or affiliation. Eligible projects must be at least 90% complete between May 1, 2014 and April 30, 2015. There are many benefits associated with a nomination. First of all, you cannot win unless you are nominated. The top 3 nominees in each category will be featured in the Gala Program, so it is an excellent way to promote your best work to the city’s contractor community and the owners and buyers of construction services. Your image and reputation in the marketplace will be enhanced and if you win, you will receive a beautiful award to display proudly and to promote in your marketing materials. There are 15 awards, so your chances of winning at least one are pretty good. For your convenience, nomination forms, submittal requirements and details on preparing your award submittals can be found on the following pages. You may also visit our website and complete your nomination on line. Completed award submittals must be received at the HCA de San Antonio office no later than 5:00 PM on June 30, 2015. If you have any questions, or need help getting started with your entry, please contact Dave Sanchez at (210) 444-1100 or [email protected]. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to celebrate your firm’s excellence! We reserved several rooms at the Eilan at a rate of $159, compared to the regular $275-$325 rate. This rate is only good until May 31st, so if you want one, you must act quickly and call us. Remember, we are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, so check with your accountant on favorable tax implications. Thank you, Dave Sanchez Dave Sanchez, CPSM, C.P.M.
