Dear Parents/Guardians
We have a fantastic parent community at HCC. I
It is great seeing so many parents at our daily

Primary school assemblies and
HCC. This has been most evident at the excellent
assemblies on Wednesdays. Our PFA are re-

WORKING BEE
to students and our school community
Parents, our second regular working bee for the
in our Salt Café in the near future.
year will be held on Saturday 2 May from 9.30
am to midday. The second working bee is for
families with surnames beginning with L to Z.
There is one regular working bee scheduled per
term. You will receive a credit of $75 towards
your school fees for each working bee you
attend. Working bees are a great way to meet
parents and at the same time put something
back
into
the
school.
The
types
of
jobs
undertaken at working bees include gardening,
cleaning, painting and general maintenance. We
usually break the work up with morning tea, so
there is time to chat and mingle with the other
parents. Please take note of the dates of the
working bees for the year and plan to be there!
If you are an L to Z family and you cannot make
it to this working bee, you may attend the next
working bee instead. Likewise, if you are an A-K
family and missed the last working bee please
come along. Please meet just outside the staff
room to sign in and be assigned a job.
