an artist in residence workshop Plein Air Painting Join us on Tuesday* from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m.-3 p.m. for plein air painting at Red Butte Garden and Arboretum. We will be painting in the beautiful courtyard just outside of the visitor’s center. We will spend our time capturing the changing light, color, and textures of the beautiful Salt Lake foothills with mixed media materials including watercolor, marker, pen, and pencil. We will be outside, so please come prepared with a hat and light jacket. Meet in the courtyard outside the visitor’s center. Entrance to Red Butte Gardens is free and participants are welcome to tour the garden after class. 16 JUNE 10 A.M.–12 P.M. AND 1-3 P.M.
