A problem statement is a concise description of topical and contextual health challenges in Nigeria. Problem statements have been developed through extensive consultation with key actors in all six geo-political zones. These include the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Centre for Health Market Innovations, Saving One Million Lives Initiative and several private sector companies. Problems statements for 2015 include service delivery challenges as well as broader health systems and global health issues. The challenge allows individuals, teams, organizations and consortia to problem-solve and pilot their innovation in real-time, in a context-sensitive manner.
