Moving from Fairsail Collaboration Portal to WX © Fairsail 2015 5 Introduction to Fairsail WX Fairsail WX transforms the Collaboration Portal and extends the range of features it delivers to your workforce: • Your Fairsail processes - vacation and absence, objectives, performance review, and so on - are all available, with simple access and use. Use process names that match your needs. • Processes are grouped under Services in the Navigation Bar - select to see top level information on tiles, drill down for more detail, add and edit as required. • If you run a team, team processes are also immediately visible in the Navigation Bar. Moving from Fairsail Collaboration Portal to WX © Fairsail 2015 7 Introduction to Fairsail WX Related Guides • A new Internal Communications process serving many purposes, including: o Integrating third party data feeds directly into WX, giving your workforce easy access to news feeds, share price data, and more. o Building and displaying corporate notices for broadcast display, or for more targeted distribution. o Seeking feedback on specific issues with scoring, voting, or just confirmation that a notice has been read. • A new Recognition process delivering social performance management to your workforce, enabling all Team Members to give positive and visible feedback to others. • A new Summary process delivering top level information about upcoming birthdays and recent new hires in your organization. • An enhanced Manager Notes process, enabling you to create immediate informal notes that can build a picture of performance over time, and contribute to a more formal review. WX uses standard smartphone and tablet terms and ways of working, with the display responding to the screen size you are using - mobile, tablet, or desktop - and retaining full functionality throughout. Existing configuration processes are unaffected - your administrator and HR team continue to support Fairsail in the same way. Awards are given by you to another Team Member, in recognition of a particular achievement, task well done, outstanding contribution to a team effort, and so on. You cannot use Recognition to award yourself.
