UPDATE
The Augusta Board of Realtors® was founded in
1914 by a group of Real Estate Brokers in an
attempt to facilitate good relationships between
brokers and the public which they served. The
foundation of the association was the adoption of
a code of ethics that promoted the standards of
the golden rule - "Do unto others as you would
have them do unto you." To a great extent the
necessity of the board of Realtors® was to
promote ethical conduct in the absence of any
state licensing laws or agencies. GAAR has
roughly 1100 members in Augusta and
surrounding area including North Augusta. Their
primary mission is to promote legislative action
that will benefit buyers, sellers and real estate
agencies throughout the community. However,
they also are charged with monitoring and policing
the ethical standards within their own industry.
Habitat for Humanity of North Augusta continues
to progress on house number 16. To date, the
exterior work is near complete and an electrical
ditch was completed ready for the main power
install. On March 21 the dry wall was completed
by the able volunteer crew pictured below. Most of
this work team were from Ft. Gordon some of
which departed before the photo was taken.

We at Habitat for Humanity of North Augusta
proudly welcome GAAR as one of our newest
sponsors. Pictured below is Tom Ellers,
President of HFHNA accepting a generous
check from Barbara Sanders, the President of
GAAR.
RNM, LLC / Georgia-Lina Precast
Habitat for Humanity of North Augusta is most
appreciative for the donation of a complete septic tank
for House No. 16 made by Robert Miller, Founder and
Owner of RNM/Georgia-Lina Precast. Mr. Miller founded
the operation in 1989, manufacturing precast concrete
products for a three state area; SC, GA and NC. Their
products range from sanitary sewer structures, grease
traps, storm drain structures, vaults, telecommunication
pads, electrical structures, valve pads, marking posts,
parking bumpers, splash block and much more.
Between the staff at RNM, LLC and Robert Miller, there
is over 70 years experience in cement, concrete
products and the underground utility industry.
Barbara Sanders presenting check to Tom Ellers
Ms. Sanders has been a member of GAAR for
approximately 33 years and she has worked
for Prudential’s Beazley Real Estate for 18 of
those years. Prior to becoming President of
GAAR she had served as an active member
of GAAR’s Board of Directors for many years.
When asked why GAAR selected HFHNA for
their contribution she said; “It’s a great
partnership. Both parties working to achieve
the same goal of providing an opportunity for
home ownership to someone who otherwise
would never know the joy, pride and peace of
mind that comes with owning your own
home.”
Robert Miller, Founder and Owner
To assure their customers that they are purchasing the
best in quality and service, RNM, LLC / Georgia-Lina
Precast is plant certified by the National Precast
Association. From estimating to delivery of the finished
product, their professional staff stands ready to provide
the best in quality and service. All of us at Habitat for
Humanity of North Augusta offer our warmest thanks for
their contribution.
